One of my funniest football moments was watching this live in Australia at 2am, me, my dad and my mum on the couch, mum asleep laying across dad's lap. I forget which goal but dad jumped to his feet and punched the air and mum rolled on to the floor. It was so bloody funny!

1970, what a year of Great Expectations and ultimate heartbreak. We were in the running for three trophies: the league, European Cup and the F.A.Cup. We lost all three. Decimated in the end by injuries.

Iz ovog snimka se vidi koliki mitovi su napravljeni o tom timu 70tih koji je realno bio prosek. Nije Tito tu nista prodao ili se oni posvadjali oko premija. Prosli su kako su po kvalitetu igraca i zasluzili. I was there with my mate Colin O ... we thought Liverpool had won it (we shouldn't have counted our chicken's!). Those were the days when The League Cup Final was played on a Saturday at 3pm (No live t.v. in Britain) just recorded highlights ... it stayed like that for another two years. For the very first time I.T.V. showed that League Cup Final Replay Live! From 1984 The League Cup Final was switched to a Sunday and shown live.
