@@marshallvannice I let it rest one hour. I have learned recently about holding and resting a brisket 8-10 hours at 150 or so. But this was my first brisket and I had people to feed turned out good though looking forward to the next 😊

I love the concept and I really love the design of this one. BUT: When a house is mostly built out of dirt and trash, you can't say "only" 240k, even if it were in a good condition. That's only showing the huge inflation going around.

It's 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 3665sqft home on 5 acres! Even if the the insulation is tires, bottles and cans it would be far more labor intensive than a traditional building... Not to mention you would no longer be paying for utilities.

Congrats man. I did Keto for about a year, but stopped and am now eating sugar, but its good for your body to take a hiatus from that stuff. The earlier you jettison booze outta your life the better, too. 👍

I was raised in Eloy! If this house is in the Silver Bell Estates area south of Arizona City, it has a very interesting history. There was a group of people who thought this area was going to be visited by extra terrestrials so they named all the streets after planets, star systems, etc.

If you're going to virtual tour the property, via video, you should be focusing on entering through the main entrance. While I think the internal, dome interior isnt a good use of square footage at all, 200k is a pretty fair ask for someone that's has the money to complete it.

You're better off going with a commercial contractor and building with ICF. The earthship models, although very attractive, always have exorbitant asking prices - much more than you'd pay for an ICF construction.

Where can you grow your plants without the windows in front of all the front of the house? This house didn't respect the build of a real Earthship house!

It doesn't matter, construction should adapt to the needs of the owners, while at the same time being sustainable. I think you can take out the elements you don't like of the earthship model, so when I build my home, I'm going to use the things that work for me.

@@MiguelPlata26 the things that you take out might have a critical purpose for the house and how it functions. The botanical cell acts as a filter the water for your toilet. The front greenhouse provides a buffer to the heat in the summer and a heat collector in the winter. There is a reason for everything in an earthship and they are designed the way they are to get the best performance you can out of them.
