Okay so I fucked up lol. I can’t get mine to move I need to set it at the 11 o’clock and 1 o’clock position on top the bottom lines up at 4 o’clock but can’t get the top two when I turn then motor it turns but stops before a full turn. (I pulled the timing chain off before setting the 11/1 o’clock top ones

wow - i dont understand any of this, but i wish I did! I was on a tight budget and I just purchased a licoln MKX 2008 with 256,000 miles on it and it is in NEARLY MINT condition inside and out. Even the engine runs so quietly and smooth. I have been watching every video i can find just in case something goes wrong. The AC and alternator was replaced just before I purchased it, but I am hoping the waterpump was replaced recently as well - is there a way of knowing that or checking? Thanks so much in advance!

Working on a crank no start 2020 l5p right now. The lift pump produces slightly under desired and the rail pressures are slightly above desired, 1087psi desired peak and 1200psi peak with the rails. When I did the return fuel test I got 200ml not 15 lol

how do you set the crank to the right side phazer when there are no chains or guides for stage 2 timming?

I’m dealing with an issue too. 09 cobalt, p0411, p02440 p0442 and I can’t get them to go away, brand new check valve, compressor sounds good and seems to be coming on, goes about 20 seconds and shuts off no matter what I do. I also can’t clear them as they are marked as permanent. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are expecting a baby any day and are trying to get our car to pass inspection. I’m told p0442 evap leak is caused by the purge valve but mine is working… PLEASE HELP ME 🤞🙏🙏🙏🙏

Are the 2 runners held on by 2 studs per runner and the studs have nuts or are they bolted to the motor? Might be har but could the runners be removed from the top with some effort and colorful words?

Hello my friend! I´m from Mexico... I have a Chevy 22´MY 6.6 L5p that Crank but not start, The costumer told me that he just was driving on the road en suddenly the engine stop´s and never start again, I have checked low fuel pressure side, high pressure side both in to spec. checked for fault codes,.. NO FAULT CODES PRESENT. checked CKP and CMP signals both in to spec. all visually ok on my scanner everything is in to spec and no fault codes present, pressures, signals, every is ok! the only thing that I can see is the ˝Engine Controls Ignition Relay Feedback 2 Signal = 0.0V" but the 1 & 3 = 11.8V . Have you any suggestion. Thanks in advance!!!

I did everything i took my time to make sure everything is seated nicely no gap nowhere all lubed up plugged in tightened and it wont start acts like it wants to but just doesnt and it gave me 0223,0122,0193,0420,0303, i replaced 6 injectors and pressure sensor all brand new sensor ac delco , squirts are bosch

Question , do you have to use the sizing tool on brand new injectors that came preinstaled with seals ? I instaled them out the box and im not sure if the smell of gas is cause i didnt use the sizing tool on it before instaling or the c type retainers that i didnt replace , i closed the gascap and presurized the fuel line to check for leaks i cant see the leak but i can smell gas after 10 sec of checking and its not coming from the one time use lines they are dry and clean

If anyone can chim in wtf could i have done wrong cause for the life of me i can swear that i did everything as he did i replaced all 6 injectors with bosch brand i replaced fuel pressure sensor thats on the rail itself i tightened bolts same as the video i cleaned everything like the video and once i put it all back i got 11 codes 3 of them repeat i got p0122,p0223,p420,p0193 i do smell gas not sure why cause i got them in than connected harness than put rail in and tightened evenly torqed it and all i didnt replace the c type retainers that go around injectors and i didnt replace fuel lines (one time use) didnt see anything wrong with it to spend 200 on so wtf could have i done wrong please anyone

Is the throtle supposed to open all the way when you hit the gas, mine only goes to 28% for the throttle body, i removed the intake and the buttlerfly flap doesnt open hardly at all

The GDI engines have power and ground from the ECU for each injector. There isn't a single power source to get the current ramps for all injectors like there is on low pressure injectors. You have to amp clamp each injector wire and do the old stare and compare.

Or you could take it to a shop with a flow stand. For about $10 an injector, they can clean and test the injectors against each other for both pattern and flow.

I have a problem, my Buick ran great for 3 yrs it only has 110,000 miles. I moved nextdoor to a row of halfway houses where I ran into "acquaintances" from my past crime life. Now these so called friends I truly believe took out something like a fuse or from what I've read maybe a solenoid and then offered me money to buy my car cause they both claimed they could fix it no problem. They think I'm stupid and would actually sell it to em for less money and then they pop back in whatever they took out and have a beautifully running car for cheap. What's happening is my car starts fine some days and some days doesn't start. For no reason, it's not the battery because the battery has been fully charged and not fully charged and it starts sometimes still but the next day it won't. Does anyone know if this sounds like a solenoid or fuse that can be taken out where the car will start and run fine sometimes and sometimes not start. If so how do I find which one he took out and how expensive is it for a mechanic to install a solenoid

Saved me with this info i have a 2009 saturn aura 254,000 miles i tested my secondary air injection pump working great! I dismantled the air valve that goes behind the block of the engine and has plenty of carbon build up

I’d like to think I can take out and clean this myself and put back in. 2 questions: what did you clean them with? Have an issue that i didn't think i would have. The crank was turned before stage 1 could be put on. How can you figure that out. Someone told me that you cant just line up the dots on the crank after that has been turned because its possible to be 180 degrees out. How do I determine it? How to set the crank?
