I just found your channel and am binge watching all your videos! Great content and I love how you give detail on how to source the items. Only suggestion is to show the pictures of furniture items longer so we can appreciate and grasp the concept while taking in the info you’re presenting.

I recently got a HomeSense modern L-shaped sectional with bench seating in light gray color, by a well known furniture company made in North Carolina for only $1k. I love the clean lines and looks timeless.

Ahhh I thought so because when I first got it I could have sworn it was set for 15 min. That’s probably why they lasted a year 😂

I want and need to buy a sleeper sofa, my door is 34 wide and the couch is 38. Do you think with it can fit threw my door?

To fit a sofa through a doorway, you’ll generally want the doorway to be at least 2 inches wider than the smallest dimension of the sofa. You can have the furniture store measure for you. Also check if the legs are removable. With a regular sofa there are companies that will take it apart to get it in but that can be costly. Let me know how it goes. 💕✨

@inspireddesigntalk . Thank you for answering my question. I will try that, and yes, I already had it to pay once 400 hundred dollars 7 years ago, but that couch was 40 inches wide. This is 38 inches wide. New construction buildings 15 years ago and didn't occur to make this door a bit wider.

WOW! GREAT VIDEO! My favorite tip is your chart at 5:14 about the impact of sculptural furniture! I feel accent chairs and unexpected seating are core components of my own design style, as well as layered lighting, but I never thought of them like that before, I was mostly just thinking about design from a hospitality aspect - what makes me feel comfortable.

Great question! A hide rug is smaller so it will depend on your furniture layout and placement. It can be under some pieces but doesn't have to. In my living room it was under the coffee table but not the rest of the furniture. Put it in your floor plan to check the size and layout before you purchase if possible. Happy Designing! 💕✨
