I’m so grateful for the conversation here. Something clicked for me at 40:39 when she said “it doesn’t matter if the universe doesn’t care, or if everything goes away tomorrow, this is meaningful”. I also had a long deconstruction process from Christianity. And later on took psychedelics. Over a year ago I had a trip where I could see the void of energy that absorbed all manifested light energy but “I” was the “Void” of “empty/full” awareness that absorbed even that. I’ve seen traditions from every corner of the earth that have their way of describing this but struggled personally with the message I kept getting as I was leaving that space “nothing matters, nothing matters”. While integrating that, I knew that also meant somehow that everything matters and ultimately if nothing and everything matter simultaneously then there’s nothing to say, there’s just being. Or just this. However I didn’t feel that in my experience. I only felt the existential emptiness. Recently, balance of meaning with meaninglessness has been coming into my experience more and I died laughing when I heard her essentially say “it doesn’t matter that nothing matters”. somehow the double negative helped the thought loop unwind for me. Thank you both for your vulnerability and thank you for your podcast McKayla!

I think that psychedelics can be good for the deconstruction process; healing, shadow work, metabolizing emotion, and getting a direct experience of … non dual.. All… Consciousness.. and psychedelics as you are pointing to are an experience. Non duality is not an experience. The content for me with psychedelics has stopped stopped. it’s just empty luminosity space. Get support with integration!! If you need it’s the gold!! I love Angelo he has instrumental in process! ❤ thanks for watching!

Ex Mormon here. Brittney is awesome! I just got out of my first mushroom trip. It was definitely much more difficult than a thought. Somewhat of a bad trip. I'm trying to integrate it now but man it's very tough. I'm grateful I follow people like Angelo Dilullo. If I were to try and extract some sort of universal truth about reality from my experience, it could lead to a pretty skewed, dysphoric perspective of life. Psychedelics all take place on the level of mind or consciousness. I'm sure you can have a glimpse of nonduality, but my experience definitely felt more revealing of my subconscious rather than of objective reality

Why you take a pill ? Or pray to god ? Or do any ritual ? To escape from the world as it is. Reality is anything won't change a fact world is as it is and it is brutal. We say in this video go take a pill and you will be happy. Will you ? Will any experience or belief will change how we are as human beings ? So the fact is all this LSD is all about individual experience so still all about individualism and to enhance this individual you already build in years.

From circumstance I tapped exactly what Brooke proclaims, every aspect of her understanding and then some, but I'm sure, this girl is rare and this thought process is old but forgotten, it should be recognised to restore to ppls armory.. I hear you Brooke. Good vibrations from éire going to you, and Michaela. You're having some great experiences opportunities in life, you are way more than your experiences, they are just like a happy puppy, keep returning to their owners when they're celebrating happiness, owner is like a god, a higher being, a happy place, and there is always a higher place, we are limitless, mind in gut is key to breath which directs nerves and focus to routine, routine and discipline is the road, choose carefully.... Thank you both, beautiful listening to chemistry and exchange here with you both.

endogenous DMT is a neurotransmitter that regulates our perception of dimensional reality. There is a lot more going on around us that we “can’t see” but many say they can “feel”. DMT inhaled as vapor breaks down the filters and barriers we build over a lifetime and shows you pure consciousness ❤

We don't necessarily know if DMT is an endogenous neurotransmitter. there have been amounts found in the human body, BUT there are a lot of chemicals floating around in our body. Polymers and macromolecules are constantly being cleaved and reformed throughout our entire life. There is no convincing evidence that shows DMT is produced and utilized effectively in the body in a neuromechanical sense. I WISH there was. It would make my research much more easy

great to see this! just starting to watch. have not read his book yet. i think important to point out that when a government like the US, or Germany, institutes a severe 'anti drug' policy they are not really anti drug. the war on drugs in the US is not because the government wants to stop people from using drugs, it is a way to make the prices of these illegal drugs to be very high, and the commerce controlled by criminal organizations affiliated with secret agencies of the government. in every case: heroin, cocaine, cannabis, LSD, MDMA. these industries fund black ops. governments are not trying to help people. and also so the positive uses of some of these drugs, like psychedelics, mdma, and cannabis that could undermine the profits of legal pharmaceutical drugs, are squandered.... would love to have a discussion with him, because i think he is good hearted but wrong on some important things, for example, he said the CIA didn't want people to take LSD. that is probably wrong. they helped underground chemists produce the stuff.
