You did a lovely job of hand stripping and explaining the process. Dog looks very good. What a sweet breed. I have a Chihuahua -Terrier rescue and I think he is a Border Terrier mix, same type of face and personality. The hair does not look like it needs hand stripping, but he does have a dense undercoat so the Furminator undercoat rake was used and it took out a lot of dead hair. The top coat looks fine though, funny. You did a very nice job on the dog's face. It looks clean and well defined. Thank you! Please do not add music to any demo videos, it is so hard on the ears. It addles my brain and stresses me out to have another level of noise over the voice when I am concentrating. Not everyone likes music with demos.

I have a 6 month old Toy Poodle-Maltipoo mix. I would like to cut his hair myself. I would like to ask how it works when cutting because of the tactile hairs. Do you have to cut around it or is there nothing else to consider? I don't want to do anything wrong or accidentally hurt my dog. Can you recomend anything for my cockapoos itchy chin,i have used malaseb it works for a week then itchy again ,i think its due to dry skin cold weather,& wet chin hair.And he was also itchy under the chin during the summer,actually frm birth 🤔. He eats veterinary foods as he has food intolerances,eg he has a veterinary novel protien diet.But still itchy chin.

What brand of clipper and blades do you use,i havnt found any that will cut though my cockapoos allover thick curles

You are incredible with dogs. Ive sat and watched a few of your videos after taking in a rescue border terrier and wanted to know how i should care for his wirey coat. He is only 4 months so not quite ready yet for his first groom. But what captured me was how amazing you are at connecting with the dogs you groom..gosh i wish we lived close to you i would trust you with all 4 of my cherubs. I also have a tea cup chihuahua who has spina bifida and i protect him beyond belief but i would happily bring him to you without a second thought, and that says a lot as im a crazy protective dog mom😅 especially when it comes to him !!! Maybe a road trip from the west midlands is needed !! Thank you for sharing your knowledge. But thank you mostly for truly showing love to these precious pooches who come to you. ❤ Watching this little reacue chap have his new hair doo and freedom be given back was lovely. He must have left feeling so free, no tuggy knots and feeling airy. Gorgeous ❤

Wow the difference between this and people who shave (I heard about this technique watching a video about an Airedale terrier who was shaved once too often) and they talked about this and how the coat looks amazing if it is kept up this way.
