I have kind of skinny medium sized hands for a guy and the Octa dpad for me feels amazing. Similar to the saturn/genesis 6 button pad but tighter and for me this is perfect. Mostly playing beat em ups with a little third strike on the side though so perhaps for fighting game enthusiasts your mileage may vary.

A nice cut together you have created to impress your negative thoughts of the game onto the viewers. It could be believable when you had restrained yourself to fewer negative commentaries which are not covered by the images, but only your negative "feelings" and when you had put out all the video material instead of selectively cutting things to support your negative thoughts. I also played the game and the "second half" was much longer, did contain top of the notch fights, which you did leave out (I guess intentionally) did not contain your negative feelings and was basically very entertaining and immersive!

To start, considering this is a clip compilation and not a full game review, Thanks! *Imposing* may fit better in the context of what you’re trying to say than impress but either way, why would I paint any other picture than the feelings I had? I felt like the second half was bad lol what am i gonna do, NOT say that? Maybe you hadn’t seen Part 1 of these videos where I *was* immersed, or maybe you’re just offended on behalf of the game idk but eh. I’m sure you’ll find the first BG3 video VERY “believable”(?) if ‘fewer negative commentaries’ and ‘negative feelings’ are your criteria I would be surprised if your personal playthrough of any game contained my feelings tbh cause we’re different gamers clearly, I’m glad you had fun though!

@@Gabriel_Micah Yes, I have a complete different experience from the third act and a huge number of other people also had. Your video just has a real big smell of negative framing because on one point of the game you where disappointed by story decisions. That you explicitly show selected parts of the game does fit this assumption. A game company -- particularly when it is so story heavy -- must make decisions regarding the story. And not all decisions are according to my taste, but I try to make peace with it, even when not everything is to my liking. Action heavy games have it easier in this regards, because story can be even absurd, nobody cares. CRPGs are different. BG3 does not cater to every taste, but many people are very happy with it, even with the third Act -- and maybe you just missed out the good parts, because of your negative feelings.

Why would I need to put my feelings aside to convince myself I enjoy a *video game* more than I do? Or anything, for that matter. You’re acting as if I said “people shouldn’t/can’t enjoy BG3”, which is an absurd claim considering these 2 videos are all about my own playthrough and my thoughts/reflections. The points you’re making are in response to things I didn’t say nor imply. I LOVE story heavy games and media, I have a D&D group I play in regularly. I understand decisions need to be made, who doesn’t? This story’s Emperor was enough to sour the feeling of agency to me, and enough for me to no longer be immersed. You aren’t saying anything I don’t already know, and you keep referencing at ‘my negative feelings’ and using that for your assumption that I missed out on the good parts 🤔 it’s strange to make such a stink about someone not liking something inherently subjective to me
