It's tempting to come across knowledge and run it through the filter of what resonates with you, instead of looking at it through a broader lens. Or you can want to apply it to a set of facts that have already been established, instead of seeing how it can chart a new path

Cause they’re watching crap like this all the time, me included. You are the problem. In the past we just lived life and learn from our personal experiences, not some intellectual who thinks he has all the answers.

Absolutely, I'm tired of hearing this guy talk in circles with his large vocabulary telling people what is right in his mind.

Pretty sure teaching and passing down knowledge has been a thing for thousands of years. You have a teacher too. Unless you want to go through life tripping up like the first human to ever live. If you don't like this one, find another, but don't pretend it's better to never listen to anyone with more experience than you.

@@erenjaegerbomb8653 I do, my family, and they don’t worry about how many views they’re getting. Sometimes you just have to make mistakes and be s of aware enough to know where you went wrong. Jordan is a smart man, but the hair plugs and the come to Jesus after he gets off benzos is just not who I need. I’m not saying he’s bad, but pretentious, for sure.

I used to have anxiety approaching strangers on the street, now I'm so used to making friends with just about anybody...

I had the same issue. When I relocated to the USA from South Africa, it was my chance to reinvent myself. In 2017, I made it a goal to meet 1000 people. I had 2 prerequisites for it to count 1. I had to shake their hand, and 2. They had to tell me something interesting about themselves. What ended up happening was amazing. People that I met started helping me achieve the goal they became engaged with the fact that someone was trying to better themselves. The funny thing I realized is that people are generally good.

Cool can you tell my brain to not get anxious for no reason? Cause that's the problem
@ExcaliburrCoaching2 ай бұрын
It's difficult. There are 2 paths that you can follow to overcome this. I have used both. 1 is anchoring. it's like, have you ever had a smell or taste take you to a memory and feeling and just immerse yoi in it? That is what an anchor is, and you can create a physical anchor for example tapping a part of your wrist and if you have primed yourself correctly it can trigger an alternate state, say a time when you we super confident, or calm. This can help you to break the bonds of anxiety in certain settings. The other method is more extreme, and that is immersion in the anxiety as much as you can, and it will possess less and less power over you. If you want to chat about it let me know. I am here to help.

U're right. Been dealing with depression & anxiety my whole life. If I get anxious, I physically get sick. I have to make a plan & follow it. I'm also in therapy.

I am sorry that you are having to deal with that. The fact that you have something in place to cope and that you follow it speaks to the amazing character that you are. You went from victim of your circumstance to victory.

The old saying is true…To overcome your fears you must face them.
@ExcaliburrCoaching2 ай бұрын
I can tell you that is so true. By doing things, you are scared of you physically changing a part of your brain, the anterior midcingulate cortex. I googled the spelling and discovered it by watching a video. I was scared putting myself out there after my divorce, and I came across an advert that petrified me it was to become a male entertainer. But I pushed through that fear and was able to successfully do it for 6 years. It has helped me with confidence and charisma in the corporate world.
