Brother your desire to grow spiritually is a great desire, an honorable Pursuit. There are No Shortcuts. Sure reading your Bible spending time talking to God because that's what prayer is. There are several types of Prayer. There is prayer of petition praying on the behalf of others, there is intercession where there is a pleading and intense requests, and there is prayer of Supplication where we call out on the Lord for Help! There are many times that we have questions, and questions are good. But growing spiritually takes a lifetime of Trials, difficult times mixed in with laughter, joy along with the good times will be trials, Temptations to deal with and overcome, day by day month by month year by year decade by decade. What is critical before you even start your journey. Are you born again? Is there evidence that you have actually been born from above where the Holy Spirit entered into your body by faith and repentance, repentance meaning changing your thoughts towards God's thoughts. And naturally turning away from a sinful lifestyle. Doing this without the holy spirit is impossible. Once you are sure and you know that you have been born from above with evidence of a transformation that took place in your spirit your heart or your desire things of God, Your Love and Desire for His Word. The love of God moves through you and you find its a pleasure in serving him with joy. That is not to say that your Flash your body will always feel like praising the Lord or praying. Damn relatable. I became very social during my first term of college as well, which ended, and now I am break, but, I stopped building things, stopped improving myself, like reading books, listening podcasts, or learning new things, instead just became social, all the time, and started caring about social media, like installed Instagram, snapchat, started making streaks, maintaining those streaks, posting a lot on Instagram stories, and checking my phone again and again for any texts, etc. etc. I am trying to get that under control now, like I have started scheduling my day, where I definitely have started putting 1 hour just to read books, have stopped scrolling Instagram reels, started brainstorming startup ideas, and, started trying to distance myself from certain people, who I care about a lot. Like, if they need me, I am here, but receiving a text from them, shouldn't affect how my day was, or looking for whose messages takes all my energy, or forces me to keep installed snapchat, instagram like apps of mass destruction.
