Thanks Vishnu, Do you think taking a tsp. Of Chitrak a day at the close of Pitta season could be a general ritucharya for cleansing the digestive track of summer?
@yogiearth2 жыл бұрын
If Agni needs support, it could be useful. It is pitta increasing, so you would want to be cautious if the Agni is sharp and quick, there you would want to manage pitta. It all depends one “for who, when and how much.” If Agni is variable to slow, it is indicated

God bless Dr Godwin I am James co co I’m here to testify about what Dr godwin did for me. I have been suffering from (GENITAL HERPES VIRUS) disease for the past 4 years and had constant pain and inching, especially in my private part. During the first year, I had faith in God that i would be cured someday.This disease started circulating all over my body and I have been taking treatment from my doctor, few weeks ago I came across a testimony of Rose Smith on the internet testifying about a Man called Dr Godwin on how he cured her from 7 years HSV 2. And she also gave the email address of this man, advise anybody to contact him for help on any kind of diseases that he would be of help, so I emailed him telling him about my (HSV 2) he told me not to worry that I was going to be cured!! Well, I never doubted him I have faith he can cure me too,, Dr Godwin prepared and sent me Healing Oil, Soap, roots and herbs which I took. In the first one week, I started experiencing changes all over me, after four weeks of using his Roots/ Herbs, Oil and Soap, I was totally cured. no more inching , pain on me anymore as Dr godwin assured me. After some time I went to my doctor to do another test behold the result came out negative. So friends my advise is if you have such disease or know anyone who suffers from it or any other disease like HPV, HBV, HIV, ALS, HBP, CANCER etc. you can contact Dr.godwin for help via drgodwin52@gmail or whatsapp +2348158184060.

I enjoyed your little talk on improving sleep. Thank you. I am very interested in using Ayurveda. I have been using Ashwaganda powder at bedtime, and it is my usual supplement for sleep but I also use various other things, like magnesium, homeopathic and 5HTP, etc. but I alternate them. I appreciate the tip on seeing how you feel during the afternoon and comparing that to the early am hours..

Thank you for posting Vishnu. This is a wonderful supplement to the first chapter of your Ayervedic Herbology East and West. Sometimes it helps to hear someone other than yourself talking about the "life knowledge". It makes it so much clearer and brings it to life. I have a question for you. Could you elaborate on the alchemical processes involved in making, or purifying the rasa rasayanas? Do you use them in your formulae? I am an eclectic herbalist and I have had one foot in the herbal path, be it Ayurveda, TCM, or Thompsonian; and the other in alchemy for quite some time. At first I studied them separately, alchemy and herbs, but now I am realizing that they need not be separate and are in fact one. Does Dr. Lad use them in his practice and are there any resources you can point me to on thee use and preparation of the rasa rasayanas in rasa shastra? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Its a shame its use is so restricted here in the west, especially since they don't mind injecting our children with upurified mercury and aluminum in vaccines. Ethyl mercury at that, which can pass the blood brain barrier unlike elemental mercury which is still very toxic but won't give you brain damage. Anyway thank you for the upload! -Beau Barker, clinical herbalist at Appalachian Herbal Remedies

Dear Beau, The quality of much of these medicines are very questionable in modern times so caution is needed with much sold in the market place. It takes great care and time and few pharmacies follow the same strict traditional methods that require time and effort, but there are some that still do this. In my opinion the most important factor it to select the appropriate herbs for the individual, this gives the best results. There is no doubt that mineral based medicines have powerful properties, but we can use only herbs and safe minerals. Certain mineral bhasma (ash) such as shanka (conch ash) and abhrak bhasma (mica ash) as well as prawal pishti, coral powder are safer and more available outside of India, although I don't know anyone preparing them in the West. Here is an article you might enjoy.www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3252715/. The art of herbal formulation that fits the individuals needs is such a wonder art, that is where I place my attention, but I do hope that the old ways can be preserved and researched so to be more understood and accepted.

Thank you so much for your reply. I completely agree. Constitutional medicine is the only way to go. It seems light years ahead of the allopathic approach, whats funny is that its actually hundreds of years older. Ive been trying my hand at spagyric tinctures, and i am nothing short of amazed my friend. They are so much stronger and have a much more constitutional effect. Regular tinctures obviously work, but spagyric s are dosed in 1 to 3 drops. If I take 5 drops of my spagyric kava tincture it knocks me out out. Its like taking a whole ml of kava tinc. It gives a whole new meaning to specific medicine to me. They are made by calcining the plant material left over from the and grinding in the pestle, then repeating the process until you get a pure white salt, then adding it back to the tinctures. The alchemists believed this reincorporates the intelligence of the plant into the extract. The idea is when the extract has its intelligence back it knows exactly where to go and what to do in a given body. I wonder if this is similar to the Indian ideas. It is adding the purified body(salt), back to the theoretical sulfur and mercury of the plant. Or its spirit and soul. I have yet to work with the mineral kingdom. Mistakes in vegetable alchemy don't poison anybody.ha thanks again Vishnu

Very interesting stuff thanks for sharing. I can tell you share a similar enthusiasm for clinical herbal medicine. I have heard of Spagyric method of preparation for years and you perk my interest again. I'm curious about you, your posts are from Sandy but your name is Beau Barker correct? Do you have a practice in Asheville? If your own Facebook you can connect with me there through my page.
