I have an awful fear of heights. I always refrain from looking over the edge of anything decently high up. Yet I hope to one day go skydiving. I've been on rollercoasters before, with difficulty, but I feel like skydiving would honestly be easier, especially with an instructor on my back. Not to mention the views I would get. It really would be the greatest 'fuck you' to my fear lmao

I went once just like this. my dude was juan. he sidled my narrow ass to the door and hollered in my ear 'u wanna flip?'. only an hour or so into this thing, I not only liked juan but trusted him. so....hollered back 'whatever, man!'. we were dangling out the door of this shitty plane and dude launched our asses right out the dang door tumbling ass over teakettle. 14 thousand ft. free fall was like 2 mins. once he popped the canopy, my dude let me play with the risers till we reached a point he decided to take back over. 1) SKYDIVE PALATKA 2)always, always tip your instructor 3) I am NOT a spokesman....i just ran across this vid and remembered our day. juan, if u out there, 'hey, man'.

I found out my stomach does not like weightlessness; I was dry-heaving during the freefall part. I just did a little online reading on this and they call it "stomach drop" and say it's caused by nervousness. So that info is useless, because I wasn't that nervous, and it doesn't explain why sometimes astronauts get queezey during weightlessness - I'm pretty sure it's the same thing. Your stomach is unfamiliar with the sensation of not having its contents pulling in a direction caused by gravity, and its nerves get a little screwed up. Next time I will try it with an empty stomach.
