Thanks for mentioning this, I now have over 8k scrap stored! Seems to me that 8 plants per extra large shredder is just about perfect, didn't notice any downtime.

i know im late for the party lol but the extra large dome storage.. i tend to use them for all the small wind and solar one slots in the game... works great because i dont want to spend hours scrapping them and well its free power

I think people looked up more technical solutions for their gameplay, that's not what this video is about. This video explains what there is to do in the game and what you can expect. How you play the game is of course entirely up to you, but this video gives a bit of a guide line to help you on your way and what you should probably start to do when you first play it. I looked this video up not because i struggled with controls, but because I wasn't sure what to do except point my mouse to the ground and 'blast' away the ground. Now I understand better that the game is more about exploration then anything else. It's not like Factorio where you build giant bases and defend against angry mobs, or Minecraft where you terra form the entire world. Your main goal is find out what's out there, and sometimes gather some resources to progress. I think the explanation was a bit on the low end, but it did it's job for me. Good video👍

Dude, you are a LIFE SAVER!!!! I’ve been doing everything manually and since this, my productivity skyrocketed!! I put an arm on my rear trailer and a medium storage Tank on the middle trailer. I put the Pick Up circles where I stand and harvest. As they drop, the arm picks them up and fills the tank with specified resource I tell the arm to pick up. Harvesting has never been easier!

One thing about this game is that its easy to get sucked into further automating a process that takes a long time to set up but actually only saves a bit of time overall. There's also hard and easy ways of acheiving the same automating goal. For now i have resisted fully automating some processes but when i do ill come back to videos like this. Its also funny how similar some of this is to my job. I 3d model infrastructure (revit with dynamo) and have to have to set up automated process, but its possible to fall into the same trap of spending too much time automatibg to save a negligble amount of time. Anyway, great video!

If they keep this system up of releasing dlc content every few months or so around the same price point and amount of content I would be extremely happy would definetly keep the game going and feeling fresh. Especially since the bones and basics of the game are so solid they can EASILY build on it so nicely with dlc‘s
