Definitely hang onto the rotors. In my experience, drilled rotors are garbage. If they see too much heat, they'll crack in a heartbeat! Plus if they get warped, you cant mil them down.
@schmidygarage725115 күн бұрын
I agree but got the entire kit cheaper than buying parts needed so said f it 😂
@brandondeel356714 күн бұрын
@@schmidygarage7251 i feel you man. I build on a budget too. My 350z has drilled and slotted rotors and I'm pretty sure they're all warped.haha previous owner did a number on this car. You probably won't have a problem running them as I assume you won't be doing real hard braking for extended periods of time which is what causes them to heat up and warp. Drilled and slotted rotors do look sick, just not great for high performance applications. I'm going to go with just slotted rotors when I replace my junk.

Helicoils never lasts especially on something like that. I wouldn't trust it to hold the brakes together. You'd be better off just drilling it out and tapping it for a larger size bolt. Cheaper and safer

you dont even have to take off the connectors on the coils you have enough slack to just pull the coil out also if you take the throttle body and take the T plug that has the hoses in the back of the intake you can basically just put the intake on the air filter completely out of the way.
