It is such a small world, bumping into Elliot Earles of Studio Practice on a decade-old video!

Agitator? Human talentless parasite, that is all you are. Never did one proper thing in your life and mindless charities support such valueless abstract non-narrative idiots instead of supporting REAL talents . Shame in Helen Coburn Meier Foundation among others! A pretty nice money laundering machine😆😆😆

Finally got round to watching this. I found the book dedications very emotive and loved the way you dealt with the archival material. Great to get a better understanding of your work. Intriguing and moving 😊

Bloody creepy ho, you should better explain how to get money from the police after falsely accusing the guy you were living with, ho. Or how to choose the right photographer, or teacher, to f***, to get up the ladder fast, beach.

it is criminal how poorly documented Makela's work is, his impact on the design world is comparable to that of Carsons

I would want to live in the Stahl house full time over Fallingwater because it's connected to people. But Fallingwater is perfection for quiet private times.

The Eames house is incredible. The furnishings and landscaping are major components of its appeal. So idiosyncratic.

The bauhaus was so "cerebral". Not the worst thing to be, in some ways that can be seductive. But in the end, it leaves me feeling shortchanged. Wright was a genius, but I've learned to see shortcomings in his work too. He wasn't God no matter what the apprentices and fans say.

Great lecture as always, very enjoyable. I live on west side of state, but return visit to Cranbrook is on my bucket list. Could you do a talk on the Afflek house some time?

The talk seems to continually lose track of what its purpose is .. it could easily have taken place without reference to OOO.. Harman is Heideggerian in his approach to first principles of ‘being’ as he is to arts approach to in some way addressing similar first principle object relationships.

Hugely thoughtful with regard to the role of art and artists in our time. If you are working in the arts, trying to make a go of it, you will find this stimulating, useful, realistic, encouraging. Casey Droege is, in my estimation, a class act!

Awesome! He's absurdist and painterly, an excellent colorist, his works are like arte povera meets the history of painting. He casts a wide net of references (dubuffet, rothko, oldenberg, dada, situationists,........) to make objects that are strange and beautiful and call to question what art is, and to ask and examine what is it's function. Though he describes it as failure, his exploration of children's art is an attempt use art to tap a root into something primal and human, that exists in the liminal; something beyond the realm of consciousness and words. Bravo, and thank you, Brian Belott. Please keep up the good work!
