It'd be a lot better if it were scripted. Too many mistakes and 'yeahs' make it burdensome and less informative to watch.

Got one mate, great little book.. Other channels don't promote it because its a cheap book and not published by IET... So there's a little bit of snobby here. 🙄

One little tip for the board labelling. The multiplier function on the brother is good. That way the ‘Main Switch’ label would just be 1 block rather than 2.

do you use photocell’s for exterior lighting or do you usually just have them off a switch
@mikegmarshall3 ай бұрын
I missed this one! I used to do a lot of TBS when I started. Usually large building sites. I remember running miles of 110 festoon lighting at a tunnel refurb in Blisworth in Northampton. Back then you had to put the lamps in as well and tied up with tarred marlin . #lamp tramp

Nice job guys. I stopped using ring mains & I now use 4mm twin & earth radial circuits on 25amp Rcbo’s 😊
@ElectricianTV3 ай бұрын
That seems to be the fashion at the moment to be honest rather than designing the circuit. I just run a ring. Couple of my friends do the same.

Hi wills.. is it possible to use on a vessel electrical system?? Which use isolated system??
@ElectricianTV3 ай бұрын
I have absolutely no idea. I should imagine it would be best to contact megger ask them.
@efraimmasarrang3 ай бұрын
Okay will.. I've sent them and email, I hope to get a feedback from them soon.. thank you for your suggestion..
@angelofranklin13 ай бұрын
The real problem with ring mains is pending on where the load is applied. There are many cases where to much load is plugged in near the origin of the circuit which will cause most of the current to flow through the lowest resistance back to the distribution board on one leg of the ring. Remember the OSG specifies 26 amps the be the average load on a 32-amp ring. One twin 13-amp socket. Personally iI would do a ring circuit for the bedrooms etc and a radial for the kitchen in 4.00 mm

The milwaukee brushless drill is more powerful than the bosch professional drill. So therefore it isn’t a DIY tool and they don’t need to make it a different colour.
