Not wise...Cern seems to have a bunch of underdeveloped science-based dummies that just got busted!

Your voice video desterben I I find it's very disturbing I hope you run the facility better than you run the video but you did approve this video that's disturbing

Real life mad scientist. Sweet! Is that a Tektronix 602 XY display?

Thanks for watching!! I love your work - so inspirational (and I even used VAMP on one or two sounds used in this set - game changer!!!). That’s an old Tek 7623A that’s a part of physics history - was used in the 70s at CERN’s Proton Synchrotron accelerator. Some of the other stuff used in that set is from old recycled physics experiments also.

Super glad you learned something! I like to think of this as a roundabout way to just teach Fourier analysis.. :P

Thanks for offering. I have questions about the muon spectrometers. If you have detector tubes instead of cells, doesn't it only give a 2D trajectory of the muon particle, meaning that you are missing 1 component of the momentum vector? I might have misheard, but if electrons are attracted to the electrode at the end of the tube, then wouldn't the muons be attracted to the electrode as well? (ok it's probably because the mass of the muon is larger than the electron, but what is the mass-energy ratio between an electron and muon if the same electric field impacts two leptons so differently?)

@@qingyangzhang887 We have a grid of tubes with two orientations, each provide a measurement in one direction. atlas.cern/discover/detector/muon-spectrometer
