Something that isn't mentioned in the video that I think is a very important thing to consider is the eevee illustration rare that we know we are getting in the etb. Typically japanese sets will have that promo in the pack itself. So it would be a little odd if it was the only one. Like it seems more unlikely that the japanese set will just have a single ir in the whole set. This doesn't confirm or dispute anything it's just interesting.

I think at this point people are gonna be disappointed no matter what. If it’s super hard people gonna complain . If it’s easy like crown zenith (which has eeveelutions for like 20 bucks) people gonna hate it. I’m excited no matter what cus I love the look of these new cards.

It’s not going to be another Evolving Skies imo, but it will be a high demand low quantity set it appears. Not as nice looking “alt arts” or SIRs. And Evolving Skies also had Dragonite and Rayquaza which are very popular Pokémon as well.

This being "short printed/stocked" is pure fantasy for people that maxed out their CC on pre-orders. You gotta keep the dream alive, I suppose. Pokemons production over the last few years has been at an all-time high. Literally printed in the billions and we know this because Pokemon released their official numbers. We also know that this set is going to be released throughout 2025 in waves with different products. The only product that will be premium will be the PC ETB due to the stamped promo. The rest will be available at retail with no issue. How do I know this? Because I have never met a person in the last 15 years that couldn't find a set at Walmart, Target, etc.

I just mentioned what people in the community are talking about, definitely don’t think this is “short-printed” but I do this it was printed way less than demand. Here’s what I have to say about printing numbers. All time high was 2023 because of reprints + them adjusting to a new demand. I would be willing to bet 2024 has lower printing numbers than 2023 due to adjusted print runs from Temporal Forces onward.

@@Skiplupyt The issue is people in the community have no idea what they're talking about most of the time. They act like these products are rare, which is undeniably false. Pokemon cards are some of the most mass-produced products in the world. Pokemon even purchased a new printing facility a couple of years ago to keep up with the ever-growing demand. The term "short printed/short supply" is clickbait masked as concern. Like every single set that has come before Prismatic Evolutions, it'll be readily available. If you think the number of cards they have printed in 2024 is lower than that of 2023, I am going to respectfully disagree with you. The numbers will continue to grow as this hobby gets larger and larger. A company keeps up with demand, not shrink production as demand rises. That would be a terrible business model. Pokemon is excellent at business and that is why they're the most profitable media corporation globally.

That’s the hope, Scarlet Violet has been very weird in terms of what they do with bit rates and print runs so I’m always just expecting the curve ball from Pokemon 😂

We already know there will be IRs because the eevee promo which will be in Terastal festival. If IRs are in terastal they will be in english

I’m having a hard time thinking about hit rates the way price scalping is going lately. As bad as Surging Sparks has been, can’t imagine how bad an Eeveelutions set will be. Not sure I will get to open enough to worry about hit rates…BUT I like the idea of a CZ type hit rate where cards are more obtainable

THE ENDING KILLED ME MAN. Very informative video, always appreciate the collection of facts and possible speculation with this set. Seems very unique, especially with the addition of masterballs. Masterballs might have replaced the IR's in terms of pull rates. Just my personal speculation.
