Speaking of morals. Isn't bad morals for resellers to buy up a bunch of sneakers they aren't authorized to sell . Is t that stealing from said company. And also isn't charging 2x to 4x retail on the resale market a act of bad morals as well

If resellers are too greedy & prices are high.. ill rep replicas all day. Idk who the fuck makes these stupid rules of being a sneakerhead & what it means to be one. I love sneakers i dont need to kno about history or only cop jordans blah blah blah

I want the yet to be released Kobe Dodgers colorway. I won't be able to buy it retail. They'll produce a limited amount of these sneakers and the resellers will buy it all up to make money on it. That means that if I really want it to wear with my Dodgers blue jersey will have to buy the fake replica ones. Doesn't Nike want my money? I'll pay the retail price but won't pay the resale price that they want. I need to pay bills, gas for going to work, insurance for everything, you know life.

“If everyone buys a special shoe it’s not special anymore” someone thinking like that is not a sneaker head, that’s a follower. Whatever is special to you is important. A sneaker head knows shoe history, knows shoe materials, designers of their fav shoes, wears their shoes, keeps some special, wears reps of the ones they can’t afford cuz they just need to have em or just saves the paper until they can buy em. Sneaker heads are people that care about shoes in general not how much they can gain off of the shoe or how many people know they can wear or buy it.

Pains me to see fellow jordan lovers critisizing rep buyers as broke, when we simply have priorities elsewhere, and yet still love that particular colorway, design, collab, etc. And quite frankly retail prices from nike are reasonable. It's the resale prices and artificial scarcity by Nike us rep buyers are on about. On both sides, it's the resellers that are the worst: They gatekeep the popular retails and amp up the prices, while rep resellers, who get decent UA or 1:1, try to pass theirs as authentic, taking advantage of the authentic reseller prices. It's the reseller stores who are the ones killing the sneaker culture. I'm totally cool with people collecting as they feel a connection with what the shoe's history or story envibes, and people selling their used pairs putting them up on ebay and such, and people who simply just buy lots of shoes because there's just so damn many good colorways to choose from.

You should've prefaced the video by saying "I'm a kid and think the (ugly as sin) Air Jordans are amazing". That way I wouldn't have been so appalled by your disliking of the PERFECT shoes. Gazelle, Campus, "city series" and chuck taylors. Those should be the only sneakers sold around the globe.

Have about 13+ pairs along with my Nikes. Will definitely pass your video along to others to help them become more aware.
