Hello, Does the engine fit under the hood?

@danielw.9050 I did a 1/4 x 32 spark plug conversion from C and H Ignitions, so I only had to make 1 small relief in the cowl on the left side, then painted the cap white. I saw the same model without the conversion and both sides were fairly noticeable.

@danielw.9050 I didn't use cans on this one, just stock exhaust with the nylon extensions. I trimmed the extensions flush with the radius of the cowl.

Sorry for the delayed response. To make CG correct, I added 31 ounces just behind the engine. I know a few of the guys with radials had to add tail weight.

Hey Charlie, Since I tamed the P-47, I've been flying more than recording lately, plus I have to talk someone else into recording if it's my plane in the air, lol. Winter Warbirds is coming up in January, so will try to get some done there. Thanks for the interest!

Hey Colt,what prop are you using? I’ve the UMS150 in mines and a 28x14 prop,hell! I went through three other props before I got the right one

Thanks! It's just a Xoar 27x10 warbird prop. I will say, it rips pretty hard above 3/4 throttle. Be careful depending on your club's noise tolerance, or lack of, lol.

@@Colt-4570 Think I willnorder one coz I really liked the performance on your video. I purchased 1 xoar 26x12 and one xoar 26x10, both 3-blade but I started to reconsider your 27x10🙄
