Most likely, it is the NEO suit software that we accidentally activated.

Assuming the boss that will have this theme is long forgotten tech, imagine it start playing a memories of a long dead/lost person, who's PC's relative (bonus points if PC is a bad person and the voice that they heard is one of their only good person they know), only to forcefully switch to whatever program it spouse to be and attack player's? That would be epic.

The robots came from long before the PCs were alive and were waging a war against humanity. over time they pieced together that the machines were forced to execute their own creator due to a crime that was long lost to history. one of the original models reactivated with a malfunctioning memory unit, one of the players fixed the unit and the machine returned to full function, playing a fragment of the song their creator used to sing before going berserk and attacking as it remembered first hand being their when "the mother" was executed. I played the singing at the beginning of this video as the fragment of the song, one of the players tried to "complete" the song, and eventually the robot gave up fighting stating that it did not want to exist in this world anymore, giving up its prototype technology to the players.

@Zotesoap wow that's awesome! I'm planning something similar. The Tech was a prototype machine of a kin, who lived under the ground. They were created by a man from another realm, who saw others as an unequal and disgusting, wishing to create his own "man" and make a world by his imagination (you know, *the* asshole). He died from old age, but his creation did not. They moved underground and started to build their own network of laboratories and cities, reaching the level of technology, equal to our modern days, and even beyond. They all had one goal, declared by their creator - destroy all life on the above. For this purpose, they built and created hundreds of dangerous objects. From monsters to machines, one of which was Tech, similar to NEO, but powered from liquefied Soul's. Unfortunately for them, people on the surface discovered them and raided them. Through massive bloodshed people of the surface managed to destroy everything undergoing kin's civilization has built. This did come with great cost. One of the weapons underground kin has managed to capture erased millions of people and whole history before. PCs was born around 553 years after said tragedy. And when they eventually made it to the underground ruins, they found out the Tech. The Tech was forgotten in a hurry, lost its purpose while its creators were slain. After turning it on, it would define PCs as intruders, only to shortly turn off and play a memory of a sister, one of the PCs. Only to abruptly turn on and attack players. Why does it know about the past? Soul magic. Due to being unkempt for the past 500 years, some modules were broken and main fuel - liquid souls - were mutating, allowing Tech to remember the life of an already dead person. And if you think that's all... Think again, because even after PCs defeat Tech, it will come again (10-15 sessions later). Assuming they didn't anialate it, of course. The Tech would be broken, yet still active... It will gain consciousness, based on memories of a sister, and someone else (idk who, my bets on Optimus Prime lol, if you want you can suggest another), creating a new being, running on a pure spirit (like undead machine). The Tech will confront the PC, whose sister they remember (PC is a REALLY bad person and I want it to be a turning point for their character), and attack for the last time. ... Sorry for a long read.
