You tapered down way too quickly my friend. You must go slowly with your doc. I took 8 mg films for 16 years and jumped in November 2022. Don't scare these people just because you screwed up.

Suboxone is the worst prescription drug to withdraw from. First off regular opiates are faster to get off your system. Suboxone has a long lasting after life affect that takes months to get out of your body. Im going on 5 weeks of jumping off Subs cold turkey and its been literally hell. I was addicted to Percocet and my doctor prescribed Suboxone and i got stuck 5yrs on it . Started at 4mg then cut down to 2mg. then 1mg. Still the acute withdrawals were insane. Hot/cold flashes, tremors, irritability, insomnia, anxiety, diarrhea, restlessness and zero energy. Withdrawals have subsided 5weeks later but the insomnia is crazy. I can go on 3 days with absolutely no sleep 😢

I don’t understand this. Yes the withdrawal sucks. I had awful RLS for two weeks. And interrupted sleep for months. But the acute withdrawal was not as bad as a full mu agonist. This is my experience. I can’t speak for others.

Bobby ain't Kidding... I jumped from 24 mg of subs and boy have I've been going through it. If it wasn't for Jesus I would of went back. For me it was hindering my relationship with my savior and if he can die for my sins, I will detox from subs 100x over.

I've had the opportunity to come to know this brother. I've spent many hours talking with him. I believe God has a plan for us all. Devin was a teen when the crime took place. 23 years later, I see a Godly man who is taking responsibility for his actions. We all screw up, brother. I won't address the "fool " statement.

You need to get down to less than .25 mg and take several months between downgrades. You won’t feel any ill effects until you get down to 4, then you slow down, way down.

My mom worked his case in post conviction. This man has literally watched me grow up. He’s still very close to me and my mom. We love him very much. His story is very complicated and complex. People forget how human people are.
