I’m enjoying the game but following this walkthrough definitely makes it more fun. The motel in the opening reminded me of Psycho. The basement door of the house at 30 minutes was obviously totally inspired by Silent Hill 4 The Room. Traversing between dimensions reminds me of the Silent Hill series. The clown painting in the basement was a nod to the clown doll in Poltergeist. The car outside of the store before you get to that house was a Plymouth Fury and a nod to Christine. Anika’s mother chasing you kind of reminded me of the girl from either The Ring or The Grudge. As a horror fan, I really appreciate all the Easter eggs to classics I see in this game.
