I appreciate it man and yeah I like the argos I looked at a few years ago I’d like to have one just have got my hands on one yet.
@MakeItGreatAgain5521 күн бұрын
@704MudSlingers the biggest drawback about my Argo 750HDi is the top speed on only 20-23mph as opposed to my Polaris 400 4wheeler that can do around 45-50mph I'm sure your Brute Force 750 is even faster! Where I typically like to get lost in the woods at riding, speed is of little to no use unless crossing some open clearances. The bonus of the Argo being a 4-man swamp, muskeg, or mountain lake boat is the option I like most. I've seen the 4wheelers like yours bob around and doggy paddle through a swamp and lake, too, but that's only seasonal fun, not year round. Getting muddy wet and picking leaches off your legs and buttcrack was fun when I was younger playing on my 4wheeler, but im too old for that now. The Argos are year-round, and I'm not wet with slimed mud when setting up camp in the middle of B.F.E. somewhere. The price of used Argos and popular side x sides are around the same between 5-10k for something older but decent. Keep making these videos, brother! More people should get out into nature regardless of what they get there as long as they are enjoying it!
@704MudSlingers21 күн бұрын
@ yes sir I agree winter riding is not as much fun when your soaked head to toe. And to your point on speed most of the places we ride are tight trails so we mostly just cruise. And thank you I hope to get some full riding videos out soon

Awesome rigs till you need to buy a new winch mount and realize the mount is attached to the "front carry bar" /bumper rails that they don't make anymore for the 08 grizzly/bear/kodiak
@704MudSlingers21 күн бұрын
Agreed I had to build a mount for my route force. I didn’t like the way one of the kids I bought mounted to the bumper. It’s too thin bars that bent the first time I hooked anything to it.
@jackglockstar21 күн бұрын
@704MudSlingers ya my 08 grizzly needs part number 1D9-F845N-01-00. It contains the 4 tabs the winch goes on. Too bad that they quit making them. Fuxked over anyone that needs a winch on a grizzly kodiak big bear of that style.

Get yourself a small no2 kit, makes a world of difference getting that 🐌 to spool quickly. *Kit Size Considerations:* 1. Small kits (10-20 HP): Suitable for small turbos, low-boost applications. 2. Medium kits (20-40 HP): Suitable for medium-sized turbos, moderate boost. 3. Large kits (40-50+ HP): Suitable for large turbos, high-boost applications.

tell me how to make 250hp injectors not smoke and I’ll make it happen thank you for your comment
@Faolan1612 жыл бұрын
@@704MudSlingers custom tuning, I think HP has provisions for your truck now... timing is huge for smoke levels. Air/fuel calculations are off. I'm running 700 hp without smoke, 3rd gen, and rail pressures are well under stock maximums, around 21kpsi. Proper turbo sizing is a must. So many people put a huge turbo on, and don't have the proper fueling... 250 hp sticks would respond very well to a cam upgrade, but it's not necessary. I assure you with your power levels, you would never look back with a cam. Your black smoke will turn blue/white... rubber burning, not excess fueling..... lots can be done to limit black smoke, if you don't mind the elbow grease.
@704MudSlingers2 жыл бұрын
@@Faolan161 I definitely agree on the timing the truck is still at stock timing so is the pump it is a P pump truck with all the goodies I do need a bigger turbo but I am in the process of building a transmission to hold it the one in it now will nuke itself if I put it through anything else lol and I do agree on the cam I think I’m going to go with a 188/220 Hamilton cam I also have two 3rd gens one of which is my work truck that I should have some videos out soon of some motor stuff going on with it and my other I am going to start recording the process of building me a shop truck thank you for your response

@@704MudSlingers it's nice to hear about your project! I have experienced Colt Cams, stage 2 and 4. Stage 4 is the largest I could go and still have no valve overlap, so maintaining bottom end. Stage 2 had a solid flat torque curve from 1500-2800 rpm 62/65/14 turbo. Stage 4 begins to run strong at 1700, and runs 4k no problem, though I don't run 4k often... 64/74vgt.... I'm not sure of the figures, but they are easily locatable online. Overlap generates a substantial loss in torque at low end, like the gen 3's have from the factory. I get the timing issues with p-pump, which is why I appreciate the gen 3 abilities to shape the timing curves for smoke reduction and according power gains. I despise the expense, though... stock fueling shows hardly any gains. When I did about 125 hp fuel increase after turbo, I measured the distance/acceleration gains. Then I installed the Stage 2 cam, and doubled the speed increase. Dual disc clutch only... much less smoke... Hopefully that helps you understand the effects of a cam. Gains can be had and can be big, but so much online info speaks against cam upgrades... Good luck, keep us posted!
