Everybody is an expert on photography. Every refuse collector, or landscaper, or siding installer that every said Hi to Adams - is now a renowned expert not only on Adams but on photography. Someday Adams cardiologist and lab tech will write a book about Group 64. Goodness gracious sakes almighty, enough already.

Thanks for this. I found it about 7 years ago and keep coming back. I saw the movie (Heartworn Highways) many years ago and this track and session stuck out.

This man was a very good friend of mine! I met him via my grandfather in the late 1990s. Larry John I have your autograph, I have your blessings but, it will never fill the void! God bless you brother and I love you to this day.

idk how this fella escaped me for so long. This documentary reminded me of another I saw; can't remember the name of it or the name of the guy is was about for that matter. Hoping someone could tell me. He was an Oklahoma man, wore a top hat, long dark hair turning silver. Played bluesy rock n roll. It's a vague memory I know.

This is epic. He has oo much soul and presence. His voice kinda reminds me of Mr Lou Rawls. I wish I had a voice like that. I like this version better than the album.

He is so genuinely tickled about the harmonica playing. I love this dude so much. Love the drums. So tight. All of the musicians are, but the drums are just so tight.

@@TheGorillafoot it gives us younger folk a chance to be introduced to new music, and if we like it then we buy that specific record. So it's not all in vain

You are so right. Hate to say it, but at 58 years of age I had never heard Drive By Truckers or James McMurtry or even John Hiatt. I was stuck in a '70s classic rock bubble. Don't get me wrong ... still love the music I grew up with, but I thought I would never hear anything that turned me on again for the rest of my life. I was wrong.
