I bought the dji osmo 5 and they still haven't got their shit together. They suck

I can't lock the gimbal on my Osmo Pocket, when I try a lock appears inside a box next to the battery level, can someone tell me why?

Wish I’d seen this video before I wasted my money on this. Not that the idea is not good, or that a new product like this from a relative amateur has to be perfect out of the box, but frankly this is total garbage. The lens mount itself is huge and clunky (even the magnetic part that doesn’t need to be), adding to the weight. The ‘flatness’ of the contact surface is like something modelled with play dough and admits light from almost every angle, and the image itself is so badly ruined by a vignette that you have to zoom in 1.4 times for a half-decent image. Garbage. Avoid.

I used bread ties (twist ties) without the plastic around it to get it in. It worked. The wire on those is flexible yet firm enough to pass through.

To be honest i think it looks like garbage, unless that the point. You can get superior results using old nikkor prime lens.

Can you store it with juice in the tank? The manual says nothing about it. I have a large Halloween fog machine that needs a cleaner run thru it after use. And they say the tank must be emptied. Would be helpful to know…..

I transferred data from the Pocket 3 to my Laptop, it heated, is that a problem?

This thing is fantastic. I was able to take it in my carry on on the plane. It fits in my pocket or fanny pack and allows me to get the shots I can't with a hand held camera.

Interesting. It might be worth trying just cause how cheap it is.

Using a 4th axis isn't always convenient. That's kind of why I chose to try the least expensive one I could find. The one I had for my p2 did not get used enough to justify paying big bucks for it.

I just took a video and I was in continuous focus and the subject (taking head in the center of the frame) was in focus for a few seconds, then it decided to focus on the background. I wasn't using a phone, so I missed that focus change in the moment. I wish there was a face focus mode.

I have two of these cameras - I think that they are great, but that the Emeet Stream KZbin and Facebook software is very poor. I now use the software as a virtual camera for OBS, and that is much better!
