I think I may have the short version on a 45 rpm - somewhere inside my Rubbermaid "box of my life" stuff :)

I saw Edgar with an 88- key keyboard strapped over his shoulders. Frankenstein came alive that night under the light show at Paul Stadium, Massilon, Ohio. The song had just come out.

The studio version of this song is fine, but whenever they perform it live, it is WAY better

One of the most iconic rock songs of all time performed by one of the most amazing musicians ever, and the crowd stands there like they are in line at the DMV. Disgusting.

When I hear this song, I can visualize the lab and creation of the monster in the original movie.

The drummer’s not as good as in the original Frankenstein, and his snare is way too loose for the song.

One of the best concerts I ever went to was at the old Spectrum in Philly more years ago than I care to remember. Cold Turkey, Black Sabbath and Edgar Winter's White Trash were all on the same show. Fun times.

To squeeze all that talent into one man is unfathomable. I know Edgar is an icon but the fact that he isn’t mentioned up there with artists like Prince is a crime.

That guitar sound is actually fat enough to match Edgars keys!!! Rest of the band is definitely heat as well.

Roadwork was probably the second greatest live album in the 70's pretty much a tie with The Allman Brothers Band Live at the Filmore East

So who came up with that live finale? Edgar Winter or Lynyrd Skynyrd on Freebird Live in Oakland? Both performances are from 1973 and sound nearly identical.
