Joni is an amazing artist. She writes the lyrics, piano and guitar music. She also plays it all perfectly. Her voice is another muscical instrument. Unique and beautiful ❤

I loved this woman’s music, and her for that matter, and this is one of my favourite songs but…. I’m always saddened by this version - it was late June 1970 and she was clearly very strung out. She died October 4th - just 3 months later. She’s gives it her all here, like always, but it’s not her best and it always makes me wonder “what if someone had got to her at that point?” Maybe not realistic but I can’t help the thought. So no, not my favourite version. R.I.P 🌹

If I'm not mistaken, this was Woodstock, the original. I was there..... What a beautiful privilege it was,. Yes she was smacked out on heroin (all of us were a bit altered) and yes, she became a member of the 27 Club. Gone too soon, always remembered! RIP ❤

take a handful of simple chords and make a masterpiece, the beatles were masters of that, this was one of the first songs I learned on guitar and I still play it, fantastic.

In my humble opinion the Rain Song is one of the most beautiful songs ever written. I like it even more than Stairway to Heaven. Call me crazy but I just LOVE it.

I enjoy your delightful and thoughtful reactions to the favorite music of my life. If you want to try one of the most powerful/beautiful songs I've EVER heard, please listen to and possibly react to "Malka Moma" by Nelli Andreeva and the Philip Koutev Bulgarian Choir. God bless you my brother.

Subscribing. I know this is 3 years old so I need to see what you have reacted to since. Having loved yes, Genesis and these bands, I safely say there are Italian, French, German and south american bands that are every bit as good if not better. Check out Semiramis *dedicato a frazz" from 1973 or locanda delle fate "forse", banco "Darwin", canarios "ciclos" etc.. you will be blown away

Superb man one of the very best, now listen to and watch Lynard Skynard Live at Knebworth, playing Freebird, they went on before The Rolling Stones as a support band, they should have been the whole show, stay safe P.J. from UK.

Smells like Teen Spirit was inspired by More than a Feeling by Boston. Kurt even admitted it. Both amazing hit songs. Do Metallica ripping off other bands. They did but did it better.

Roger Mayweather was the original "Black Mamba" and a badass of his day. A virtual lightweight version of Tommy "Motor City Cobra" Hearns with lethal KO power of his own. After being upset by Chavez he went on a tear that earned him the nickname "Mexican Assassin" and the rematch v. Chavez, which he lost. Nonetheless, put some Respect on Roger "Black Mamba" Mayweather's name, son ... RIP ... 🙏
