Weird is subjective to the subject. Weird means odd or different, if a homeschooled child doesn't fit In then they will stand out in society. This is a lack of parenting, they can be taught to standout but fit in at same time. If they are not taught this, then they are sheltered and not prepared for society.

Being homeschooled made me a better man, I had a working knowledge of business, had experience working full time and I still graduated with a 3.8 when I was 16 because of homeschool. While my peers were worried about girlfriends, drama, and foolishness, I was learning how banking worked, how business was done. When I was 18 I had skills most 30 yr olds had. I have no problem communicating with people, I get along with everyone. If you were socially awkward in homeschool, you were probably social awkward way before homeschool. Homeschool allowed me to experience the world and still be educated. I had more of a practical knowledge of how the world worked while most were still trying to figure out things at 18. I was better prepared thanks to homeschool. I consider myself lucky

I had all of this as well, through public school. What's your experience with public education to make any kind of comparison on how it better prepared you?

And fortunately all parents are naturally born educators that didn’t need to go and learn how to educate or even understand the topics they teach! /s

I feel bad for any kid cursed to be home schooled, poor kids always are the most akward and incapable to fit in. Then to be sent to a normal school years later making homeschooling even more pointless

...and are some of the most socially awkward people ever. I can attest to that having been around a few of these clowns after their parents give up when they hit 8th and 9th grade 😂

No kidding, and the trouble these kids got into when they finally did escape home schooling was insane!

@@420snoogins no doubt XD Not like teachers (underpaid daycare workers essentially) are doing much better but at least they get REAL human interaction with 29 other kids in a classroom. (I only say under paid because of the exchange of how much a person can charge to babysit a single child compared to the 26-34 in a classroom while at the same time it is illegal to have 1 single person in charge of like more than 8 kids at one time in a daycare setting)

Every home school kid I know HATED being home schooled. They literally said it made them introverts.

Exactly my point too. Overly sheltered by over bearing parents usually to get almost the same quality of education because of the lack of being able to fail. Eventually most of these parents will start to basically feed the kids the answers because half the parents can't keep up with what they are teaching anyways (usually math) so half get a superiority complex because they weren't told they were wrong for a decade or more and the other half are dumb and coddled for obvious reasons 😂
