@TerranceJacob-e1d oh no, it could be internal, inside the radio itself. May hv to hv an HONEST technician diagnose it. Then look for a used radio if needed or a compatible aftermarket unit.

Oh...ya...it was the battery. I changed the thermostat cause my furnaced was mixed up but kept the old batteries to save $2 and my furnace seemed confused of when to start and stop. I watched your video and put in new batteries and right away the temperature on the thermostat changed and now my furnace understands. Thanks friend. I didn't like that old blasted thermostat anyways.

I have a 99 E320, and the code was on a neat little white sticker on the edge of my glove box. You can see it when you open up the glove box. Also, I entered wrong numbers at first, and it caused the thing to read "wait" constantly. I simply left the radio on while driving for a little while and was pleasantly surprised to see when I looked down at it at one point that it said "code" again. Popped open the glove box, punched in the 5 digit code and pressed OK - radio came right on. 👍
