My God (pun intended, haha), my road to working with Apollo was a bumpy one. For a long while (year or two) I felt like I'm missing one of my Guides. The number of pantheons and wiki pages I went through looking for who that may be! After a while, having a general idea, I tried to track down anyone matching my life and interests, and having a very sunny presence. I wandered into Egyptian pantheon, tried my best, found only sand and silence. Then I was hanging around Lugh for a while, and I can describe it as a friendly "I decline, but you can stay here if you insist". Then I refreshed my knowledge of Greek and Roman mythology and the closest vibe I could find was Hermes - once I did, I was like "alright, this is good enough, let's get to work". And now the funny part starts - every time I would try to work with or simply mention Hermes to someone, my brain would forget his name and it *literally* would go like that: "I'm currently working with... um, what's His name... I can't believe I forgot... No, not Apollo, that other one... Hermes!". After a third time or so, I thought "I need to read about this Apollo guy, all I remember is that he plays the lyre". I started to read the basics and that was the biggest facepalm in my life probably :) No idea how I missed all that when I was refreshing my knowledge the first time but I'm happy he was kind enough to let me know in the end LOL.

Nightmares are the echoes of our unresolved past. They can be terrifying, but also illuminating. To some extent, I feel that The Morrigan uses nightmares not only as a sieve for those seeking her, but also as instruction. Many fear her, but I do not understand this. Very similar to you being an avid and vivid dreamer, being able to discern dreams from Dreams 😂 a woman came to me in a dream recently just after the (spring equinox) holding out her hands saying 3 times that “Apollo guides you”. And I woke myself up repeating these very words aloud. 2 weeks after this introduction, I have been seeing Apollo symbology everywhere - 3 cars with “Apollo” written on them, and I also received a random message from a dating app (I don’t use) saying “Apollo likes you”. This is so true, he first made himself known through dreams, to now making himself known to me through automatic writing and through the use of tarot/oracle cards (which I felt drawn to buying rumi’s oracle card, who was also a poet). I’m currently writing poetry and creating art through my words - seeking truth lead me to unveiling my oracle/prophetic gifts over the past 3 years. You are right, she definitely does not take any bullshit. She is my mother. She’s the form of God I connect with the most. Her love is incredible and she may be a goddess of beauty, love and luxuriance, but she is also a vengeful goddess of war if she needs to be to defend the greater good. She is not holier than-thou when she is angered and she does not have patience for evil energy or demonic traits embodied by her kids. She understands our deepest pains too though, and she taught me how to empathize with those who are wounded beyond repair on a road of no return. I have seen many of her children who are lost in their lives, and it’s devastating. She values integrity of the heart above all and has little tolerance for her children engaging in nasty behavior towards others. Others have said that she has a demanding personality which I get but at the same time, I don’t feel that way because I relate so deeply to her. She is a guardian for the hearts of those who have been abused.
