@kathykat7592 firm it up in the refrigerator before using. Then it should be fine unless your home is overly warm. I never had issues with mine doing it this way.

@Habibhabibu-c2m I do not make suggestions for replacements with my recipe, as I have not tried replacing them myself. I would suggest you try on your own with a small batch.

hi just came across your video and Thank you loving the instructions! Question can you add a preservative like liquid germall plus. how long id the shelf life on your recipe

I have never used a preservative, so couldn't advise you, sorry. The shelf life is really long, especially if you refrigerate. If making a small batch, you will use it up before you have to worry about it going bad

Only if you're selling would I recommend it. Otherwise just refrigerate enough to let it set up, then use as needed.

If you're selling, I would keep them refrigerated until sold. If for yourself, refrigerate until it's set, then remove and use as needed.

Most of the time , I bought the organic coconut oil from Costco. I have no experience with unrefined 🤷‍♀️

I continue to make this excellent body butter over and over (four time so far). I make half the batch and it lasts me for many months. And I always look forward to making it when I am close to running out, as I will do again this week. Thank you for such a brilliant moisturizer!

You dont have to, but it will be more greasy. The arrowroot makes it less so.

I honestly don't remember what I priced them at. And you would have to price out your containers, ingredients and time to get your sales price. All would depend on todays prices of course, so I can't be of help unfortunately.

Just scale down. If you're making 1/2 a batch, use half as much and so on, down to your size batch.

I did refrigerate after making to firm it and keep it until sold. But if you're making a small batch, it's really not necessary. It will get used way before it would go off.

For me, I mix the jojoba oil with the arrowroot powder very well, and then add it to the butter as it’s melting that has helped it not be gritty. And it’s still less greasy.

I've been watching several people make their own lotions and body butters. This is by far the easiest for someone who has NEVER done this before or who is newly discovering they can make their own. So much more simpler than other people have made it out to be with emulsifiers and all this and that and PH strips 🤪. I just want to make me some lotion, geezzzz. You are by far the best! Your amount will vary depending on the fragrance used. As well as the size of your batch. You will have to research your fragrance.

That's just the size of the batch that I made. You can adjust it up or down accordingly to your batch size.
