btw, the warden is not an undead mob. sharpness will do more damage.

The fact that the gameplay of raiding the ancient city is quite intense, having to sneak all the time and be super cautious while opening chests (+ having to be afk for 30 minutes to get 3 warnings off you chest), but the moment you intend to challenge the menace in combat, the Warden really becomes the worst boss ever. I wish there wasa way to choose between killing a weaker version of the warden to continue raiding the ancient city, or use some kind of item to let the warden go full strength on you, but also drop the treasure locked in his heart, via the key to opening the ancient portal.

The whole "you aren't supposed to kill the warden" was a bad idea in my opinion. The first thing I did is try to kill the warden....which I did multiple times. But, it is always a letdown because it takes a bunch of resources and I get nothing in return. I either need to burn through a stack of golden apples while fighting it or create a small army of Iron Golems first. This is how I would change it: -Keep Warden health the same -Decrease power of its hits a little bit. -Eliminate the sonic boom...or at least lessen the reach of it. If you are behind 3-4 blocks of a wall, you should be safe from the sonic boom. -Warden spawns randomly from shriekers, perhaps a 1/3 chance every time - so you are not guaranteed a warning. -Warden can BREAK BLOCKS while chasing you. Blocks slow him down, but don't stop him. That would make him possibly more terrifying than he is now, while also giving the player a chance to fight back a little bit. -Make the warden drop a ton of experience and some cool new item(s)
