Is toyota clock spring universal, i mean can used on all Toyota model?
@johankamarudin5155 Жыл бұрын
Will the clock spring of this model fit on other camry's? Say for a 2000 camry. Because i want to install acv40 steering wheel to my sxv20 and also use the clock spring so that the steering control buttons can be used.

This is without doubt a crystal clear description and the best instructional video I have ever seen anywhere . If you are not a teacher , you should have been , because you have a gifted insight into the process . I have only one criticism , the music is far , far too loud and acts as a distraction . So thank you for the time and care you took making this , it is exceptional.

I think just like my self he doesn't know much but even I spend over 1000 dollars just getting the equipment I need to make it safe for me and that doesn't cover all the stuff I need probably another 1000 at least..needs some other acess line for emergencys and a better saw and how about a rope for ur self to climb up with to limb walk and a hard hat with fave shield and new chain or at least a safe sharp one

Perfect for my 2002 Camry. Rack and pinion was replaced by my mechanic and it ended up with the airbag light on. I just replaced it using your instructions and the light is gone.

Drop cuts instead of snap cuts lol. Almost losin the saw every time. One handing a two hand saw. No lid no ears. Rope lanyard no climbing line or 2nd attachment. When he did try a hinge he blew through it with the tip. No deliberate saw etiquette. Scared to stick his spikes in. This type of shit bothers me as a climber. This video should be taken down so some poor new climber doesnt learn any of this guys shitty tricks

Great vid, but, you didn't mark the steering wheel and steering column with a line of white whiteout in order to place the steering wheel back into place exactly as it was before. If you're off even by a tooth, it will keep putting a strain on the new clock spiral and it will wear out faster, again. One has to always mark the position of the steering wheel and steering column.

Excellent video. I did this on my Scion xB because my airbag light was always on and the horn only worked in certain positions. After I replaced the spiral cable and put everything back the airbag light now is flashing. Any idea how to fix this?
@doitallyourself90636 жыл бұрын
Double check all of the connections on the factory harness, particularly the yellow cables. Something either got unplugged, or shorted and a fuse blew. Check the fuses, look for srs and/or airbag And also I'll go ahead and check the Connectors under the seats move the seats forward and make sure the connector are clean and in place.

I found two parts : 1- From Toyota: www.ebay.com/itm/New-Spiral-Cable-Clock-Spring-for-84306-48030-Toyota-Tundra-Tacoma-Rav4-Avalon-/331439701009 2- From ISUMO www.ebay.com/itm/84306-06150-New-Clock-Spring-Spiral-Cable-for-TOYOTA-CAMRY-Sequoia-Solara-/301489953354 Are they the same ? Which one do you recommend ?

My was 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid Sedan 4-Door 2.4L... but the seller where I bought my from is no longer selling on ebay. maybe you should try to contact one of those seller on ebay and ask them what you need. and when you buy off ebay always make sure that what you are buying has 30 days Returns and MONEY BACK GUARANTEE.
