Codex entries you haven't read have a little gold star in the top right of the picture but they're quite hard to see. The reason you couldn't equip the lyrium potions is because your characters not mage. The potions slots are different for each character so you need to equip them on Solas (also read what is does because they don't restore mana like they do in the other games) you can change who your eqiupping with potions and gear using the arrows next to your name when on those screens.

I know I’m late, I started watching your Inquisition play through before I had caught up with DA2 so I fell behind. But! I was wondering if you caught the fact that the Blood Mage who killed Leandra had written a letter (that you find in his lair) that is speaking to another blood mage about exchanging their notes and that mage signed their name O. O as in Orsino, he’s always been a blood mage.

Make sure you pay attention to the level of the enemies that you are fighting because the hinterlands is a pain in the ass it's got a bunch of different parts what do you need to be a higher level to fight. And you'll get a horse later on so it won't be so bad having to walk everywhere. But the hinterlands has a whole lot of stuff and some of the things like the puzzles you can come back and do later on. And have the videos as long as you would like them I don't mind watching

I would equip my friends with all the best gear and check regularly if you’ve gotten something better. But that’s just my playstyle. I’m obsessed 😅 Don’t mind the wandering. 1:17:31 I don’t mind it but since it is a huge game and there’s so many little tid bits, maybe editing only the parts that are relevant would help condense it or the parts where you have a prominent reaction to something lol. It might take longer to edit through the footage but it would help in posting enough of the main story content within each episode, instead of just exploration episodes.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but there's a pretty big spoiler in the text of the black emporium war table mission (specifically in the last few paragraphs). Still recommend unlocking it because that's where you can adjust your character and buy some pretty good schematics, but just skip the description.

Sorry you had to go through all that to get your DA2 and Origins world state fixed. If you rush to get dispel for Solas and any other mages you recruit, then you can get them to use that spell when the fade bubbles are forming on the ground to spawn the second wave of demons when trying to close a fade rift. Sometime with one dispel cast you can disrupt 2 fade bubbles. It makes the rift fights a lot easier. You can disrupt the rift, but only when the demons are fighting, it will stun them for a while, so it's worth trying to stun them. If you get Solas to put a barrier on you, then while the barrier is active you can jump from any height and not be injured.

You think this is a lot of quests? Well it is, and this is just one zone, there are about 15 of these zones of a similar size. This game is BIIIIIIIIG, I have completed this game through twice and my play time is 361 hours! You can skip alot of the side quests, they are not totally necessary but I am a completionist.

Hi Kiki! Great playthrough! Consider installing More Banter mod. In vanila DAI banters between your companions are TOO rare, unfortunately. Also the progression of banters between some companions change their endings markedly. Also, just a heads up, a mod like this requires a special installment process. F.e. it doesn't work if installed through Nexus mod manager, I had to use a special DAI Mod Manager. You can find tutorials on youtube!

If you enjoy Dragon Age you should really consider playing Mass Effect. They are kinda similar. Both from bioware. An utterly amazing

It is okay to play at your own pace, DAI is a big overwhelming game. You don´t have to do most of the side-quests (the fetch quests for example are not needed) or discover all the huge expanse of maps immediately. :)

Lol Don't worry about getting lost and exploring. It's a good way to get exp since you get some when discovering new places I think. And personally, it's better to kind of... exhaust and explore every nook and cranny of a region before starting any main quests. Plus I really find the regions beautifully made so it's an added incentive to explore. Of course you could also ignore that and just focus on quests as well.

24:28 you can equip potions on your companions but you must choose them from the character screen. When dealing with inventory, like equipping potions or traps, look in the upper right corner for the two way arrow. Clicking that will shift your perspective to the next character, where you can equip them with potions, etc.

Hinterlands are massive for no reason and also the level of diffuculty is notoriously uneven, as in some part are REALLY HARD so dont feel bad if you die or loose or get lost... i think once i got so lost in this map that i forgot about half of the stuff i had to do and died like milion times 😜
