Siekers are boring and slow, so I tend to avoid them. This video was recorded a few weeks ago now, so I don't really remember the specifics of what I was thinking at the time, and I don't really know which 3 people you're referring to. Also, sometimes when routing contracts one can get tunnel vision on a particular strategy and just completely miss even the most obvious options.

A community member named Argus used a duplication glitch to check that a while back. Apparently it goes from "99" to "-0".

Thanks, that does make sense. I have less fun on hardcore mode, and I have nothing to prove, so I prefer to keep playing on Normal mode instead. There's no rule that says you have to raise the difficulty to the highest you are able to handle.

I wish I had the time, energy and skill to edit my own videos, or that it would make sense financially to hire an editor, but it's just not an option for me right now. My channel is basically a collection of twitch VODs with the BRB screens removed.

Thanks for the information. Yeah, I probably won't be spending shards on shrine perks for quite a while anyway as I'd rather unlock more new killers first.

​@@SwimmingCarcass If you decide to go the Shards route of getting killers, do realise that you won't be able to get licensed killers (i.e. Michael Myers, Ghostface, Pig, etc.) and only will be able to buy Unlicensed/Original Killers using them (i.e. Blight, Spirit, Unknown, etc.). Unfortunately alot of meta or simply strong perks are locked behind them being under a licensed killer, a few that come to mind are that of Deadlock from Pinhead and Surge from Demogorgon. The same goes for Survivor as well, assuming you care about playing Survivor too.

@@45null I'll consider buying some licensed killers on holiday sales or something if I decide that I want the perks, but for now I am planning to make do without them. I don't need to play the best meta builds to have fun with the game.

@@SwimmingCarcass 🙏 They get pretty cheap during sales, good idea! If there are any you do decide on checking out, I highly recommend Ghostface for simplicity and decent power, or Wesker for a more complicated but very fun power while also being up around A-Tier in strength. Good to see someone getting into DbD:)

I play almost exclusively normal mode on Freelancer because it's more fun to me. Hardcore mode greatly reduces the room for improvisation and just doesn't end up being enjoyable for me to play on stream.

@@SwimmingCarcass so u never go for silent assasins play...i cant aim like u in my controller...so i have to go for more patient approach

@@shubhamdebnath9752 I go for Silent Assassin when I do contracts or main missions, since those game modes are designed around that. Freelancer is just not a great mode for silent assassin gameplay due to the inability to practice the same strat over and over, or restart when something inevitably goes wrong. That being said, you can still play patiently and slowly without strictly adhering to SA rules.

Glad you enjoy it. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by duplicated in the middle. This video should be a continuous highlight from the stream with no edits in the middle.

After testing this "challenge run" I decided it's not really that enjoyable to play this way, and most of the objectives are very easy to fail on purpose. I typically try to complete prestige objectives when just playing normally anyway, so there wouldn't be much of a difference.

You don't need the DLC weapons to prestige, but you will lose them when you do, and they will clog the supplier's inventory while you're trying to buy other items. Technically it's a little bit pay2lose in that it makes your prestiges take slightly longer.
