@13:10 you solve the three equations Alpha, aG, and Tension. But there are 4 unknown variables: T, Alpha, aG and (aG)y. How did you solve this?
@Feignlander28 күн бұрын
Ah. Because the acceleration is entirely vertical, so (aG) = (aG)y.

You forgot to factor out the alpha correctly at 4:42. There should be no alpha inside the parentheses to apply the parallel axis theorem :) Also, and I am not sure, but I think you flipped the tangential and normal reactions at 9:00. The normal reaction should point to the center of curvature. Thank you for the video!

Hello, thanks for the video. I wanted ask: at 4:20 you say: we can express the location of point P in polar coordinates as: vector(r) = r u_r. Ok but in figure our frame has origin into the point P; should not be in point O, so as to say that we multiply the r with the u_r and have exactly the vector r with respect to the frame?

I can guarantee you guys especially if you live in Canada Alberta (where I live) this channel gonna help u lots! Watched this man’s videos to understand the concept then did a couple textbook problems. Sometimes I get stuck but just remember key things I’ve learned in the videos in what to look for in problems! I got an A- in this class and a lot had to do with this channel. Good luck!

@9:50 what if the point is on the center of the circle? how would you tell the direction of the velocity? how do you determine the direction? is there a rule or something
@Nomel_23109 ай бұрын
If that point is on the center the A will not going to move and system can be break if angular velocity is high because of rigid support
