It should have became Bond's gun going forward. It combined the PPKs lines with the P38s operating system and much more powerful 9x19mm Parabellum rounds as opposed to 7.65/.32 ACP or at best 9mm Kurz/Short/.380 ACP. Don't get me wrong. I love the PP/PPK series and extended family and love the later P99 but there are better choices available as technology advanced and while the P99 is very compact and easily concealed for a full-sized handgun and despite wthe right attire and properly tailored holsters, suits and formalwear, it's still more a frontline duty weapon not for a spy. The P5 can do both and perfect. It's small enough for Bond's style and full-power duty use when needed. Don't always need double-stack capability. Bond can and does carry heavier pistols when needed or when the opportunity presents itself.

Think the funniest thing about the torture scene is the bit right after it when they're escaping. Something is clearly messing with his head then few seconds later he's running around the base shooting guys like he's got all cheat codes on goldeneye on. Kept waiting on her saying something to him about it

But everyone knows die another day was the worst bond movie. Brosnan got a phone call after the release basically just saying sorry and thank you for your time. That’s was the end.

Also, if James Bond is a code name you kind of have to ignore the gravestone and the fact that Kincade says ‘James Bond’. Unless that’s not James Bond. And Kincade is confused.

Yea, Dalton's 3-film/7-year contract had already expired by the time all this legal nonsense had been taken care of by 1993... Dalton just wanted to do 1 more to fulfill his original contract, but Broccoli wanted him to due more films since it had been so long... So Dalton left and we got Pierce Brosnan in his stead!

Hey, just a random algorithm wanderer here. I know you are talking about 007 from the hashtags, but not from the clip, conversation, or any context clues at all. It would be better if you could include that in the title, thumbnail, or anything other than the hashtags. I'm looking for those things, most users don't.

I loved this movie at the time. Saw it in the theatre 3 times on release (I was a teenager). Hated Bond (really hated Timothy Bond in his second Bond flick) but loved the rest of the ensemble cast. Had a major crush on Art Malik who played Kamran Shah. Met Virginia Hey (known for her work on Farscape as Zhaan - she left the show due to the blue paint she wore making her sick) - Virginia played wife/girlfriend to Russian General Leonid Pushkin played by John Rhys-Davies (Gimli in LoTR). I asked her what it was like to work opposite Rhys-Davies. Virginia was joyous with her happiness in working with John. I then asked about Timothy Dalton -- her silence spoke volumes. I had heard that Dalton was a jerk - Hey pretty much confirmed what I thought.

There are actually straight kicks in martial arts - the better way of seeing if he is a dancer is to see if the kick is given more power than needed, or if it is like the kicks Patrick Swayze does in "Road house".
