I am one of those who didn't like this episode upon first viewing. But now having seen it many times more, I now appreciate the dark humor and it's among the best episodes of season 10.

I love that the comedian that teased Randy was actually really cool with it. He got a couple laughs but was really moving on with his set. Randy just made everything worse than he already made it to begin with

The US doesn’t really have hate speech laws, it’s protected under the first amendment except in very specific circumstance that are often hard to prove in court (such as a “true threat”)

@10:10 He played Kramer in Seinfeld. He was a stand-up comedian as well (apparently not very good one), and once used the N-word joke too many times in one of his performances. Also, maybe look at Seinfeld. It's good, specially my personal favourite, John Constanza.
@robling19372 күн бұрын
It wasn't even a joke. He got heckled and just started calling the people the n words over and over again. It was caught on video and it was just wild.

we have free speech in the US... at least on paper. hate speech is legal, though in can be used as evidence in a trial to elevate another crime into a hate crime.

Honestly, this is what i like to consider THE south park reaction episode. As in: This is the One south park episode every reactor of South Park should see/react to, as it perfectly encapsulates what South park is: Unapologetic to anyone(for the most part), blunt to absurdity, darker than midnight, masters of satire and parody, and something thats either gonna be something you dont really like, or absolutely love!

You feel like it's a video game because Monty LOVED fighting games. If you're well versed, you can see video game combos everywhere. It feels like a game because games are the core influence. I think Monty succeed incredibly in the art he wanted to make. A homage to fighting games.
