I platinumed control on ps4. Don’t see the similarities. Unless you’re only talking about recycling bosses, which these aren’t the only games to do this. It’s a bit of a stretch 😂

@maybeagoose8357 The main flow of combat isn’t that complicated. Well it isn’t for the rogue class anyway. Lite attack combos, heavy attack combos, parry and dodge. You get indicator when you’re about to get hit, so you can decide whether to parry or dodge. Parry timings could be better though. You get the option to counter after a parry early on which then gives you lite, heavy, and projectile counter options for rogue. You have special abilities which you designate to each button, which can be activated by left trigger/L2 and the button. Same goes for your companions abilities, but you can also slow things down by selecting from the companions screen. And you can even use combo attacks from 2 of your companions as long as one has a primer, and the other has a compatible detonator ability. Plus you have the ultimate ability once unlocked, which can wipe out everyone (playing on hard by the way). All this in the first 10-12 hours of the game and I’m still unlocking stuff 😂

It is. I managed it a few times though, just by paying close attention to the animation. The shield that you pick up later is a safer option in fights

It's kind of difficult to parry at first. I think almost all attacks can be parried. They reduce a lot of enemys Mud Energy compared to shield which is easier to use.

You have to select the one you want to use. Press LB/L1 and triangle/Y to select parry, or square/X to activate shield. Once selected you just press left trigger/L2 to use either one, but when using parry you have to time it right

Yeah you don’t get it straight away when you start. Once you move through the area you pick up the ability

@@BiggHardcoreGamer Thx 4 your fast response! I think it was. I am on the current patch, but it seems the fight doesn't start until the whole team is in the arena. I read about a problem with this in multiplayer on reddit. I'm playing solo, but with the summoner class, and seems my minions didn't enter the arena with me when they where already spawned before entering the arena. Restarting and not summoning them before starting the bossfight solved the problem. Never had this issue with other bosses - thought I describe this here, maybe someone else comes here with the same problem. Anyways, got him now! Thx 4 the vid, that rly helped in this (very tough, imo) fight.

I don’t think he appears if you don’t fight the rest of the loong family first. There’s 3 more bosses you fight before you get here. Hidden waterfall boss on chapter 1 and chapter 2, which I’ve done guides for on the channel. I didn’t do a guide for the third loong boss, but he’s on the turtle island. You have to go to the right of the island from the shrine and you’ll find him. After you beat them, this boss should be here

Good tip. Definitely a tough bastard. I found a second scorpion as well. I think there may be a bigger boss version of him to, from what I’ve seen in clips on Twitter.

@@GameLover45408 I do need to backtrack through the previous levels to look for what I’ve missed. I’m on chapter 5 at the moment and trying to get it completed before the next wave of games start. I want to get the platinum for this, but will probably wait until Christmas before I go for it.

@@MrKobernyk89 oh I thought you did that already. There are 2 secret waterfall fights after you break that wall. One on chapter 1 and one on chapter 2. There’s also a boss fight on the turtle island to the right before you face the dragon lady. I’ve done guides on the 2 waterfall fights

I agree about the rocks…..but there’s a worse one later 😂 there’s a boss where you take damage during a scripted cutscene. Now that one will piss you off 😂😂

Called it a night, and tried again the next day, and still took me a few hours before I beat him…..and I heard there’s much tougher to come 😂

You’ll get there. Just takes patience. I beat him on the second day. Had to take a break, and give my PS5 a break because I was getting dirty frame drops. When I got back on I beat him after a hour or so
