Yeah this one is for sure, i remember when i first saw this game in arcade in my town. the line to play this game was hugeeeeeee , you had to wait several hours to be able to play this game. That was insane.

The thing is with this game, when i was a kid a was saving to buy the game and i did. And the game was to hard for me so for me it was a bummer and still today for me the game is hard. But nice tohear that you enjoyed it.

The thing with those games, and i do agree that's a masterpiece , but those arcade games are coin gobblers at a point that sometimes it's ridiculous how difficult those games are even on easy settings.

An absolute masterpice, I love the ST version. This one has too much speed and it makes it harder, I prefer the slow placed exploration-action from the original ST game.

I typed this in from a magazine when I was a kid! It had a small bug from a typo that I fixed in a machine language monitor. Great game!

@RetroEntrax very tedious, and error prone. They eventually made validators that would use a checksum at the end of the line to check for typos, but I never typed one in. The typo made the game semi-unplayable, but shortly after I learned assembly and was able to use a monitor to step through and find the issue. This game was great! My brother and I played this so much, of course we'd start shooting each other though. Thanks for posting, I'll have to find the game now to play it again.

I like the gfx,i like the animation ,i like the humor, but i don't like the game series. And the thing is the difficult is insane i mean ok you got endless continue, but man some time you don't even see your character in the hell. The difficulty in those neo-geo games , are over the top, i don't mind a difficult game but it has to be reasonable. But i can understand that a lot of gamers out there like the game. I'm gonna check that one out for sure on ST , i'm curius now.

Thank you for this trip down the memory lane. I wrote this game while I was a kid way back, and it is so interesting to see it how made its way to KZbin despite the fact I just shared it with a couple of friends who promised on their life to never "pirate" it and give it to anyone else. So busted! :'D Some background info about the game: It was something I made on my spare time as a hobby, coded in pure assembly language, which I was learning while writing the game. As a Norwegian kid I had just started my English classes at school, so I had a teacher help me translate the game story from Norwegian to English. The story and game concept was inspired by a novel I was reading back then, a horror story about some cult called Arachne that was working their dark powers to bring an end to the world. Pretty grim, I should probably not have read it at that young age, so it made a powerful impact and I tried to capture the dark vibe from the story in the game. Not easy on an 8-bit system with a hardcoded color palette full of bright colors. :D I had a lot of fun making the game, it was a nice distraction from an otherwise rocky childhood, growing up without parents and struggling to fit in at a new school. It was also a nice way to bond with a couple of friends who also enjoyed chipping in, especially Tore Solbakken, a prodigy musical genius, who wrote that cool SID tune. He later ended up as a Neurologist, myself I went all over the world making several tech-startups. Funny to see how it all started. Thanks for sharing the video! :)

It's amazing that a kid made this wonderfull game, and don't forget to mention, the limited sources and base dev programs you had to use to program this game. Instead of the tools they have now to code games. 20 thumbs up man , outstanding and amazing. It's is crazy to see people take a whole other turn in they lives when they grow up , i always imagine that the devs that create those games in the days , would still be devs today , but as you can see you took a whole other turn in your live. Thx for letting the community know all this stuff man. And about the pirating of your game. If it finds it's way on the internet you know it will spread. So smack your friends who leaked this one. lol. thx again man.

I remember going to the video store back in the day to rent nes games but i would always look at the sega Genesis games too and this was one was always available to rent. @@RetroEntrax 1988 was probably the last time I played that game on C-64. Had this mate back in the day that used to copy games for me so I literally had around 80 to 100 games. I would give this dude a few blank disk's and the next day he'd rock up at school and give me a whole heap of copied games.. It felt like Christmas.

This is indeed one of those game, you play and you liked it. I though it was the other game "F1" that started on the ST as Vrooom. I do like F1 better than this one. But they are both excellent racer games.

I played it a lot back in the day, I always liked this game, a good fighting tittle. It has a lot of haters and a lot of fans. Somebody said it was the new Streef Fighter, the worst thing to say about a game, a death sentence. But it’s a great game imho.

I agree on that the fact they say it was the new Street Fighter , that's how i bought it when i was a kid. and to be honest what a bummer it was for me. I did like the presentation of the game. the gfx are great. But i couldn't play it like i played street fighter, the game was to hard for me. And yet today still the same it seems i'm not able to win a match.
