1 year on and your review is exactly what I’m looking for thank you. Also you seem like a genuinely nice person. Q - would you say this is easy for travelling? Does it weigh much? And is it easy to clean? Lastly, the point about the mattress being slightly too low, do you think we could add another underneath to kind of lift it or does the design not allow for it or make it hazardous? Thanks again :)
@Caitie_WongАй бұрын
Hey! Thanks for your lovely comment :) It’s currently packed away in storage so I’ll do my best to answer your questions accurately, based on what I can remember! 1. It’s easy for traveling in that it’s essentially a flat package and it all fits into a zip up bag. So easy to fit into the car or lay on top or on the bottom of a full boot. I can’t remember the exact weight, hubby mostly carried it, and he had no issues but it was a little bulky due to the wooden frame and legs. 2. Cleaning was simple enough! 3. Not 100% sure, please don’t take as safety advice but I think it would be fine. So long as the mattress beneath is the same size and so the top surface remains level for the baby.

Hi, thanks for your review. I really like this bassinet but ive seen quite a few reviews saying that their baby's face was squashed into the side and that there is a tilt/design fault. After having owned this item can you comment on this?
@Caitie_WongАй бұрын
Hi there! We didn’t hear about those issues before purchasing and to be honest, didn’t experience them either! I can’t comment on other people’s experiences but we only had a positive one with this bassinet.

How did you manage the car ride to and from the airport? Did you bring your own car seat?

Hello! Our hotel organised transfers for us and there was a car seat provided in their little van.

Hey , is it safe with four month baby ? As we are planning please suggest to do things
@Caitie_Wong3 ай бұрын
It really depends on what you’re comfortable with and what you’re planning to do! We felt safe the entire time we were there, but we made sure to research the area we were staying in and we didn’t venture out of the resort much at all; apart from a few times during the day. This was more about bub’s age and early bedtime than us feeling unsafe though! It’s best to do your research and talk to your partner about what you’d like to do and feel comfortable with…

is there any immunisations or health protocols we should follow when travelling to Bali with a baby?
@Caitie_Wong9 ай бұрын
Hi there - are you from Australia as well? There was nothing additional for us but we brought some mosquito patches for our daughter as we read that the mosquitos can be worse over there!
@ZAK198579 ай бұрын
Great review very informative. Me and my wife are expecting our first baby some retailers state that it’s suitable for babies up to 6 months is that the case with your baby? I feel abit daft asking as all babies are different in terms of growth some grow quicker than others. As it’s a nice robust design just a shame it isn’t up to 12months.
@Caitie_Wong9 ай бұрын
There’s a few factors but ultimately it’s up to whatever is working for you! Often these recommendations are based on moving the infant into their own room/cot at around that 6 month mark (which is what we tried, our baby was also tall so the length of the bassinet became a limitation), also size/weight requirements etc. So long as your set-up is still compliant with the product’s safety guidelines I think you can be flexible based on your own needs and situation. Congratulations on the upcoming arrival of your bub ☺️

We are planning on going to this resort with a 1 year old. It looks like a lovely place!! I feel like we'll probably do similar and just stay close by the resort 😂
@Caitie_Wong10 ай бұрын
Our daughter was still on a few naps per day at this stage and so staying close by was the best option… Honestly we were so tired from the past few months that we didn’t feel the need to adventure outside the resort. Lazing by the pool, room service, grazing at the buffet breakfast etc was more than enough for us! Hope you have a great time ☺️

Thanks for the video 🥰 just wondering if the base of the cot is straight/flat… I have one currently that folds in the middle (due to how it’s packaged away) and I really don’t like this as the matress sort of dips with any sort of pressure. My baby is not here yet but I definitely want to exchange this for the one you have of the centre panel below the mattress is flat 🙏🏻
@Caitie_Wong Жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching! Yes, the base of the cot is definitely flat. It’s the legs and the sides of the cot that pack down and fold - the actual part of the cot that the mattress sits on doesn’t bend or fold at all when disassembling.

Which tiles did you use, do you have a link for them?
@Caitie_Wong Жыл бұрын
We got them off Tile Cloud, which is an Australian store…
@bridgetmcmillan9467 Жыл бұрын
I love Tile Cloud! Just wondering how thick the tiles are that you used? I'm wanting to do exactly what you did but around our pool and I'm just not sure what thickness to get that'll break that nicely. Some of the thicker tile crazing paving I've seen, people have to place them on top of a tile in order to get the break, but I feel like this will create unreliable breaks...Thanks for the inspo 😊

How did you tile around the drain?
@Caitie_Wong2 жыл бұрын
The same way we tiled the rest, except we used smaller pieces so that it was easier to fit them in given the surface area directly around the drain isn’t huge.

Like the floor boards, looking at something similar in the same brand, how is it working out now with a bit of use?
@Caitie_Wong2 жыл бұрын
We really like them. They look great, seem pretty difficult to scratch and clean easily as well. A few spots in the apartment feel a bit bouncy, but we suspect that’s more about the installation then the product itself.
