Ich sehe, dass die Endkappe nicht komplett bis Anschlag aufgeschraubt wird. Das ist doch problematisch, oder?

Hallo, die Verschraubung muss mit dem in der Einbauanleitung genannten Drehmoment angezogen werden. Je nach Außendurchmesser der verwendeten PV-Leitung bleibt ein Spalt zwischen Verschraubung und Steckergehäuse. Die O-Ring Dichtung vorne und die Kabeldichtung hinten sind dabei immer korrekt im Einsatz und sorgen für die notwendige IP-Schutzklasse. Bei dem gezeigten Steckern sogar IP68 (2m/24h).

Hi, the simulator does not support virtual or simulation IO's, but the user can configure the real hardware structure and force inputs in the data lists for testing the application.

Hallo. Der Typ 2 Überspannungsschutz muss nicht verplombt werden, da er sich hier im anlagenseitigen Anschlussraum befindet. Die Installation von Überspannungsschutz ist stets von einer Elektrofachkraft vorzunehmen. Eine zusätzliche Abnahme durch einen Meister ist nicht erforderlich.

Hi, thanks for asking. Seems like there is no simulation package installed, because the version number is the one for PLCnext Engineer (as of today the 2024 simulation packages are still to be released). Meanwhile, take one of the 2023.0 LTS simulation setup installers (download for free at www.phoenixcontact.com/en-pc/products/software-plcnext-engineer-1046008#downloads-softw-link-target). If you have more than one PLCnext Engineer software version installed, make sure to pick the according path during the installation process of the simulation packages. If it wouldn't work then either, please go to the forum section in the PLCnext Community (www.plcnext-community.net/forum/#/categories/plcnext-engineer) to get technical support for free.

Data about the state of the battery is stored in the UPS and linked to battery serial number. Batteries connected to the UPS are tested concerning defects continuously. Occurring defects will be signaled via LEDs on the front of the housing, the alarm contact or the communication interface.

The default IP addressing method of the QUINT4-UPS/24DC/24DC/…/EIP units is bootp. As of revision V/C:05 (noted on the side label), the IP address is set to default 192.168.19.23 after 30 seconds if no other address has been assigned via bootp. You may change IP address of UPS unit (≥V/C:05) via the web server, using a web browser and the recent IP address. The only way to reset an unknown IP address is to set the device to factory settings. Press the service button >6 s, at the same time switch on mains supply of the UPS. These information can also be found in the respective product data sheet.

This is how you can correct the log error: 1) Switch off the printer. 2) Delete the printer under Windows "Printer devices". 3) Switch on the printer, the printer will be automatically recognized via the USB interface and will therefore be ready for use again. 1) In operating mode the UPS checks, if the battery is present. So if the fuse is damaged or not plugged, there will be an alarm. 2) If there is more than one battery module connected in parallel there is an additional alarm for fuse check. 3) If you want to check the fuse manually, it is recommended to switch the UPS to "service mode". Press the bottom for more than 6 seconds. Pull the fuse and check it. Plug the fuse into the battery module and exit the service mode (press the bottom for 2-3 seconds, less than 6 seconds). This is important, so that the battery parameters will not be reset (only necessary for battery change).

It is just sad that when you calibrate the printer it doesn't take into account that the labels is face down, so when you try to move the printede area to the right in the software, you actually are moving it to the left, same goes for up and down, the software should recognise the label code and flip it.

Hi, I'm using the 1-4a adjustable 4 channel circuit breaker with the PM S-R. I don't have any software diagnostic ability with this device, so am hoping you could help. I've looked over every page of the instruction manual, but don't see my issue mentioned. Everything appears to be working just fine, all devices on all four channels have power. I've set all channels to 2A. Programming mode appeared to exit just fine. However, every 4 seconds, all of the green leds on the circuit breakers momentarily become orange (yellow?) and pulse seemingly twice. Then immediately become green again. This repeats forever. No issues otherwise noticed though. Any idea what this is trying to tell me? I'm powering via an older 24v 20a to Quint UPS to 7ah battery, through to a 12v 8a Quint Power, which directly feeds the Caparoc PM. No signal pins or data connections. Thank you

I've also tried holding down the power led on the PM for a few seconds to hopefully satisfy something there but the circuit breaker flashing continues.

Hello @@meaneraverager, the yellow double flashing means that the internal communication is interrupted. In most cases, this indicates that the data bus metals of the first yellow flashing module have been damaged or pushed too far into the housing. Please check the data bus metals of all modules. Unfortunately, the only solution is to replace the damaged module.

After I adjust the rotary switch, the button starts to blink but after I hold for a few second it never confirms. I tried holding for more than 2 sec it still cannot confirm. What could be the problem?

Hello MrFocusSA, it looks that the parameterization lock has been set on the CAPAROC system, in this case it is not possible to change the nominal currents on the device without further ado. The lock can either be removed via the communication interface or by pressing the PWR LED button on the power module for 3 seconds; the LED would flash green 3 times to confirm that it is unlocked now. However, if no LED can be operated, the user interface has been locked via Profinet, for example, and can only be unlocked via an interface such as Profinet in that case.

Laut der Bedienungsanleitung sind Durchmesser ab 2mm möglich. Also ein Kabel mit 0,75 Querschnitt hat mit dem Mantel ca. 2mm gesamt Durchschnitt. Würde das auch funktionieren? Ich kriege es nämlich nicht zum laufen. 4mm gehen 1A
