This is a really skewed way to analyse the issue. Two-thirds of crop production for domestic markets are consumed as animal feed. Evidently this was not factored in to the equation. It also fails to take into account the deforestation caused by animal agriculture which is rapidly expanding, which further exacerbates the climate crises given the contribution that trees make to carbon capture. And this is before you even mention that red meat is the leading cause of heart disease and several cancers and has in fact been classified as carciongenic by the World Health Organisation - as well as most cancer research foundations across the world. Admittedly he does preface his argument by saying that 'it's not as bad as you thought' however it is still empirically incredibly bad for the world to continue animal agriculture.

Most people I know, and myself included, prefer owning things. However the economy, and society as a whole, have forced us into this idea of renting/borrowing items. We WANT to own things, but we simply are not allowed. Hell, Amazon has removed movies from people's libraries (movies that were purchased)... This does not sound pleasant to me at all...
