L87 replaces the l87. L84 replaces l83. L87 and l84 has a single peice oil pan.

There's another variation of the l87 6.2+ that has the casting number 6.2++ which Is flex fuel and start stop, but, dfm, dod shut down to almost 2 cylinder.

I have 3 6.6 liters. The smooth casting of the blocks are different. No smog, has extra cooling ports in between cylinders. You can run the 6l90 or 80. Also has a different fuel pump in back than previous l87 and the dod are inside the block under valley cover vs on the cover it self

Where did you get the computers and harness? What year is it mines a 2019?

I got the harness from the salvage yard. But holly has came out with a terminator x for it so that what I’m going with. Plug and play.

Oh it’s a 2019 motor. You can also get the wiring off of a 5.3. I believe swaptime used a e92 off of a l86 and it worked.
