@ untrue you do depend on the government. What happens at local and federal levels affects you, whether it has to do with taxes or minimum wage or maybe just a well equipped police force to protect you. One thing I can promise is someone who doesn’t have your best interest in mind IS casting their vote. Besides the best case scenario for people who want to use you or marginalize you is to convince you your vote doesn’t count.
