Thank you for the video. I will definitely do this the next time I need to change my impeller. I can hardly reach the impeller by itself and I can't see anything when I am working on it. So it seems like it will be easier to just remove the water pump all together next time. I may as well rebuild the water pump if I take it off.

Hi, what was the costs on the overhauled unit? Exchange unit or overhauled the original motor etc?

In July of 2024 I was fishing on Chincoteague island VA and was using cut squid bait on a 30lb. high low rig on a berkley big game 8' spinning rod with a quantum optix 60 reel spooled with 20 lb. berkley big game mono. This is a budget combination but it works well. I've caught numerous large flathead catfish on these combo's too. Anyway, I had caught several southern stingrays in the 20 to 30 lb. range. Then I got a hit that pulled my rod off of the pier so I jumped in after it and got it back because these rods float but it took me 3- 1/2 hours to fight this huge southern stingray once I was back on the pier. They tend to suction to the bottom and stay there like a log. It had a 42" wingspan and weighed 80 lbs. The fight that you were getting from the one you were fighting seems to me to be quite a bit bigger than your estimates. Hope you managed to get another at some point. They are very hard but fun fish to catch for sure. Good luck in the future.

I’ve over heating problems on my 4LHA-STP and the wet exhaust hose is getting cooked. I’ve measured the flow directly from the raw water pump and getting around 250 GPH …. I think this is probably way too low ….. can any tell me what flow rate I should be getting?

Hi guys, tks for this lovely video. What rig are you using. Does it have to be single hook for sayori? In Japan they appear to use a special rig that lures the sayori out from the deep. I don't know precisely what the rig is and what bait they use.
