I just ate my first Sumo from a King Sooper grocery store in Colorado and was blown away. Best citrus I've ever eaten. This one was not overly sweet and a bit tart.

I love Sumo orange but my pet peeve is it costs $4 for 1 orange in Jewel near Chicago. I mean that is too much!

By far my favorite fruit…I can’t wait until they hit the stores in late December or early January. This is a great video but I’d like to learn more about how this family got the Sumo crop to begin with and how long this journey has taken.

this has been the best year yet for sumo in the USA. seems like the fruit have been in the market longer than ever before. super delicious!

These oranges are absolutely amazing. They are a cross between a Navel orange & mandarin. They are only sold at a specific acidity level and are so good if you keep them in the fridge & eat super cold. They are notoriously difficult to grow but California has been able to grow them now for about 13 yrs. They are even better than Cara cara or Cuties imho. 😊🧡💛❤️❤️‍🔥. Just wish they were less expensive but everything is now so it's a major downer in that respect. I can absolutely see why Hoda loves them so much.
