As a Ghanaian my favourite anthems is Ghana and Tanzania national anthem. Lately as I am following the freedom of Oduduwa and Biafra, I truly love the Oduduwa (Yoruba) national anthem too. Sadly the Igbo one is in English UNFORTUNATELY, I hope they change it to Igbo. Africa must get rid off all english national anthems. It's c.rap in my opinion. Let's pride ourselves of our own language

But people still disrespect the Ewe people forgetting that Ewes have played a major role in the architecture of Ghana. Philip Gbeho, Ephraim AMU, FKD Goka, Gbedemah and co but the Akyem Mafias wants to take all he glory.

Ephraim Korku Amu was The most patriotic Ghanaian. He has to be celebrated and thought about in Schools. He wrote this is in Ewe and Translated it to Twi too. A great scholar in Ewe and Twi. very prolific composer! He should be referenced as a National Treasure!

Especially today being Independence Day. We have to appreciate the people who devoted much of their lives to make Ghana what it is today. And still look ahead to what we can achieve.
