if anyone is curious, 0:54 that chorus part is not in the veckatimest but it's in a song called while we're young of department of eagles. yes, i just found this out. now i need to know where 4:03 violins are from. pretty sure not from vecatimest either.

Sounds cliché but Veckatimest was a life-changing album. Up there with ‘I’m wide awake, It’s morning’ & ‘Hot Fuss’. Bummed GB is on indefinite hiatus but they had a great run.

This is so cool. Understand why they didn’t put it on the album though as it doesn’t exactly fit in per say, although I do get some All We Ask vibes on this. I really wish I could listen to like, all their unreleased material lol so I’m glad we at least got Shields B-Sides.

I like the version with Ed Droste significantly better than the original. He has much more soul and passion in his voice. Dont get me wrong Beirut is a good band but Grizzly Bear is just the best band of all time.

This song is good like all grizzly hear songs, but I'm glad they didn't replace about face with this. About face just has more charm and is more catchy
