What about the little pinion 10t little one ? Thanks for showing this . I had put together a couple unassembled diffs for a build and had the wrong input cups with the plastic round pice and grub screw . On the rear . A max 6 1650kv broke it loose and it seems like a pain to get off but I now realize the drive shaft has to be off for it o so doe off the front . I can’t remember if the grub screw on the plastic round piece that the input cup goes into has it’s own grub or the plastic piece with the grub holds everything ?

I need to do the front of mine as well , upgraded everything to aluminum then noticed I have a slight bend on the front chassis , imo my advice mate get rid of them shock towers they are terrible on kratons they will bend constantly with easy and one day just snap , integy do brilliant ones for the Kraton

Oh yeah that last comment was for a Kraton 6s v5 . It’s been a good RC for me and almost complete so I’m somewhat enthusiastic about the project as it nears completion hopefully . Of the max6 g2 system doesn’t work I ll throw the spectrum back in but it should .hopefully . I did a granite with a 4s system on 3s battery , 4s backflips , wide kit , steel diffs, shock tower adjuster , 6s shocks and it lands like a cream puff but it goes further in the air the heavier tires . It’s pretty awesome for a jumper as long as ot lands on 4 wheels the 1” taller higher and 6s Mohave k6s combo shocks reduce the chassis slap quite a bit . All my other cars except the 4s outcast will hit chassis of drop them form the knee height but no that granite . Like a cream puff man . I’m going to make a vid soon as the phone holder comes

Time to replace some diff cups . Only one side is really bad in the front and rear so that’s what they’ll get . Doing the servo saver shim next . I d add the adjustable piece but rings are cheaper and in the house right ? Thanks for making the vids . Yours was the best one I’ve found to get this done . It’s getting a max6 g2 1650kv motor esc combo so I ll do everything as long as I’m in the mood . Once these things are done mine have been good for many many packs . More than 30 or more depending

Thanks for this video, i recently got my kyosho inferno mp7.5 sports out of storage and found the front tower and chassis bend. Seeing you do it makes me very confident that i will restore this thing to it's prime ( i bought it in 2006 :D )

Be careful adding too many c clips will burn out your servo. 95% of the time the pillow balls just need adjusting great vid though nice work!

Why does everyone jam their chasis in with rear bumper on and risk damaging to lower diff oring. Nice rig tho.

interesting idea, thx for sharing....but why 3 times around? that seems excessive work to me if it doesn't expand one circulation must be enough to stop the tire balooning I've always taped my bigger tires from the inside but not ideal as well and kinda PITA to do although probably faster than this method but you must have wheel and tires and last few years the trend is going more to pre-mounted only (Proline no longer sell all tires and wheels seprately) you can technically use some CA uncure or bake them in oven but that is even bigger effort

all the suddenly mine started having (severe) clogging during take off... Very Severe!! Smooth out as I stay throttle...It was smooth at first, but after speed running for a while with a 19t in it, and some heavy belted tires...then this happened...I changed center diff, but still the same. .It acts as if I have a 30t pinion gear in it

Should there be any slight clicking when you spin both shafts on the diff by hand? I’m guessing it should just run smoosh as silk? I rebuilt my diff after replacing the oil (mainly because I heard a click my noise and wanted to check the gears) and once I cleaned and rebuilt it it was making the same ever so slightly click feeling when spinning the diff ends by hand. If this isn’t right do you know what it could be? Any help is appreciated.

Not sure if I have an old manual or not but it shows the front and rear both use the lsd plates, do you know if this is the correct way or should I only be using the plates on the front and big and small shims in the rear?
